Inuyasha, one of my "top 5 nostalgic anime"! (Spoiler-free synopsis) Japanese student Kagome discovers that she can go back in time through a well in her house. In the process, she discovers that she is the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, who died trying to seal the Jewel of Four Souls. Kagome, stupidly, destroys the jewel into thousands of pieces that scatter around feudal Japan. So, she needs to join forces with other humans, yokais and the hanyou [half yokai] Inuyasha to gather all the pieces of the jewel before Naraku, the main villain, responsible for practically all the tragedies in the protagonists' lives! It is a long anime indeed [the opening of the second season is missing from the video] but ALL the characters, whether heroes or villains, are very well developed and need to evolve and become stronger! It's also worth highlighting the hilarious romances and adventures and, without a doubt, the best character Sesshoumaru!
In the US, Inuyasha originally aired without the opening songs, so the EDs are more well known . The second ED that the US used, “Fukai Mori” is iconic. I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs and it started my 20+ year fascination with the band Do As Infinity. I listen to them every single day and have for over two decades.
Well, that's another classic from Rumiko Takashi brilliant mind. I really respect that woman, she made so many impactful series ! Basically, Kagome is a normal 15 years old girl living in her family shrine until, on her birthday, she's sent to medieval japan, 500 years ago, but a creature seeking the Shikon no Tama, a powerful pearl that can amplify demon's power. There, she met Inuyasha, a half demon (mother a human, father a demon) boy who wants to use the pearl to become a full demon. Kagome also learn she's the reincarnation of Kikyo, a powerful woman who protected the pearl until her death, and it was burned with her. Kagome carried it back to that time and it shattered in dozens of pieces, each very powerful and dangerous. Now, it's her mission to find them all with Inuyasha and other people they met along the way, fighting a mysterious enemy that mostly stay in the shadow and let other people do the bad stuff for him.
Inuyasha is a pretty standard shonen action adventure series, though it manages to maintain a pretty high level of consistent quality. It's main strength is it's based around Japanese folklore, so it's packed with all kinds of bizarre monsters and creatures. The untranslated dialogue at the beginning of a few of these are what you expect. A basic summery of the plot (i.e gather the shards of the shikon jewel, defeat Naraku (sometimes with slightly newer information added in the later openings), a preview of the episode, a rundown of the character roster, followed by the title and subtitle of the show ("A time-slip feudal fairy tale: Inuyasha!").
Inuyasha is a shonen series about a girl who travels through time in a old well and meets our hero Inuyasha (inu- dog, yasha- demon) the creatures you see are all demons and the boomerang is actually a bonerang😊 I highly recommend watching this amazing series it's older but so beautiful and fun highly recommend ❤
I was 6 years old when this came out. Me and my siblings, mostly my sister and i fell in love with the show. Looking back I fell for Inuyasha, Koga, and secretly Seshomaru. The cat you see her name is Kirara (English dub it sounds like they say her name with L instead of R.) she is a demon cat who has fought with demon slayers for hundreds of years know. But the most memorable thing that always comes to me is the Ending theme songs. I still listen to on my phone now, but i miss my MP3 player.
You can search for "inuyasha change the world Massimiliano Alto" on youtube for an English version of the first opening, sung by the first Italian voice actor of Inuyasha (they changed him, or maybe all the voice cast, after the first batch of episodes idk why), Massimiliano "Max" Alto.
Inuyasha !! I remember watching this anime at night on high school days !! The openings in order that I love to hate is: 1. Owarinai Yume ( 3rd Opening) 2. Grip! (4th Opening) 3. I Am (2nd Opening) 4. Angelus (6th Opening) 5. Change the World (1st Opening) 6. One Day, One Dream (5th Opening) Should do the endings next. I LOVE every ending from Inuyasha. Also if you listen to the 4th opening - Grip! of Inuyasha and listen to Bleach's 16th ending - Gallop , they sound the same.
InuYasha was created by Rumiko Takahashi, perhaps the most famous female manga creator in Japan. She began the manga in 1996, but the anime began in 2000. This is one of the best-known shonen (and isekai) anime of all time! The main character that the series is named after is InuYasha, a hanyou, half-demon. He lost his human mother and dog-demon father very early in life, so he grew up alone, not fitting in with the human world, or demon world. This is reflected in the many scenes of InuYasha walking alone in the first opening. The story opens with a significant event that took place 550 years in the past, in the Sengoku era, then jumps to the modern era, where we meet a 15-year-old girl who lives in Tokyo, Kagome Higarashi. She lives with her family who live in and take care of a Shinto shrine. There is an old well on the premises that is sealed shut, as there are many old legends and myths surrounding it. On Kagome's 15th birthday, a giant centipede-woman yokai bursts out of the well, and drags Kagome back down with her, into the well. Kagome is somehow able to fend her off briefly, but when she climbs back out of the well, she finds herself in a forest, alone. She had been dragged backwards in time 500 years, where she finds a boy with long white hair and dog ears pinned to a tree, seemingly dead, enveloped within the roots of the same huge tree that grows on the site of her family's shrine. From this beginning launches one of the best animes of all time! The characters are all very memorable, well-fleshed out, and easy to get attached to. Rumiko Takahashi drew generously from traditional Japanese folklore about oni & yokai & old legends and such, so there are endless battles with various demons and monsters, as the group of heroes, InuYasha & Kagome, the mischievous fox yokai child they take in, Shippo, the demon slayer Sango, lone survivor of her clan who fights demons with the help of a two-tailed cat yokai named Kirara, the lecherous monk Miroku with the cursed hand, and friends and enemies met along their way to their goal, to find all the shards of the Shikon no Tama that Kagome accidentally shattered shortly after she arrived in the Sengoku era, before the powerful jewel can be used for evil by demons of all kinds, and all strength levels who covet the jewel, most notoriously the evil mastermind demon Naraku, (the demonic-looking guy with long black hair in white animal skins or purple robes in the various openings). You REALLY should take time out to watch InuYasha, it's a lot of fun, and has some great battles in it. There's also an element of romance to the story as well, so it's a great show to watch again & again!
Inuyasha is still my favorite anime ever since I saw it on tv when I was a kid and didn't even KNOW what anime was at the time. I think it will be forever lol. I remember saving up what little money my parents gave me so I could buy the dvd sets (A ridiculous $160 CAD because anime was expensive back then) So nostalgic and fun. Its an anime that both boys and girls got into pretty equally I think. This video makes me want to go back and watch some episodes for sure. My favorite opening is number 6, the song is just so fun and catchy!
The main Characters are technically Inuyasha (Guy in Red) Kagome (Girl in school uniform) Sango (Girl with Boomerang) Miroku (Guy with the staff and the windtunnel) Shippo (The orange haired kid) Kirara (The cat) Naraku (Main Bad guy) But Google also includes Sesshōmaru (Inuyasha's brother) Kikyo (Inuyasha's first love) Jaken (Sesshomaru's follower) Myoga (He's a flee and has worker for Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's family for a long time) Kagura (Works for Naraku) Totosai (Also worked for Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's family as a blacksmith) The other side Character's you see Kanna (The girl in all white with the Mirror she also works with Naraku) Koga (He's the one in the brown fur with the long black pony tail) Ginta (One of the wolf demons that works for Koga) Hakkaku (The other wolf demon who works for Koga) Ayame (She wears white fur and is also a wolf demon like koga) Mushin (Raises Miroku after he lost his parents) Mrs. Higurashi (Kagome's Mother) Sota Higurashi (Kagome's Brother) Grandpa (Kagome's Grandpa) Buyo (Kagome's Cat) Hojo (A guy who has a crush on Kagome) Ayumi (Kagome's Friend) Eri (Another of Kagome's Friends) Yuka (Kagome's Last Friend) Lady Izayoi (Inuyasha's Mother) Toga the Great Dog-Demon (Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's Father) Hachi (Works for Miroku) Kaede (The Elder Lady in the Village where everyone keeps going back to also Kikyo's sister) Kohaku (Sango's Brother) A-Un (Two Head Dragon that follows Sesshōmaru) Rin (The child who follows Sesshōmaru) Hakudoshi (Enemy who looks similar to Kanna) Byakuya (Enemy Who uses Origami) Bankotsu (Enemy leader of the Band of seven) Suikotsu (Also in the band of Seven used to be a doctor) Ginkotsu (Also in the band of seven Is built kind of like a tank) Renkotsu (Also in the band of seven uses a lot of fire and gun power) Mukotsu (Also in the band of seven poison user also probably the most creepy) Jakotsu (Also in the band of seven has a snake like sword and has a crush on Inuyasha) Kyokotsu (Also in the band of seven he's the largest guy) Jinenji (Another half demon but he's a good guy he helps Inuyasha and Kagome and later on Rin) Shiori (Yet another half demon who Inuyasha saves and later she gives him a sword upgrade) Midoriko (The Rumored Creator of the Jewel of the Four Souls) There are other Character's but these are the main one's if you add Yashahime Character's you get a few more lol
Hio Inuyasha is a really good Anime back in the day i watched in in german and they had there own versions of the OP´s (it has only 2 there) and both of the openings wher real bangers. i woud reccoment to react to them as well^^
This was my first anime, & 17 years later still at it 😄. Oh!! And the endings are even better (in my opinion😉), some of my favorite in all of anime. Sesshomaru is my favorite character 10:30 . Tatakai means battle/fight/struggle/conflict 🤗
i can't translate by hearing the short speach before the last openings, but its something along the lines of "the advantures of inuyasha is about to start" "we will retrieve the shikon shards of the shikon jewel" "i'll defeat the evil naraku with this tetsusaiga (sword)"
Pure nostalgia, what a great series. 😌 ▪︎A small observation, the opening: Inuyasha Kanketsu-Hen is missing. My fav characters: Kagome and Shippo. Nice reaction🔥
Ah, Sango. The best demon slay---*flashes forward nearly three decades of her life* ......Welp, we know that the village was able to be revived. Almost got *spoilers beeping out words* again but you know.

My wife and I are fans of the series. It has a good story and is quite fun. The first opening is fairly different from the original opening. The original didn't have any vocals and was just orchestral instrumentals. I think you'd have a great time with the series.

Thank You for pronouncing Inuyasha correctly! I do Not know why but So many people add a goddamn W to his name and say Inuwasha 😂
When it comes to *Inuyasha* & *Rurouni Kenshin* , you definitely need to react to the Endings coz that's where the good stuffs are 😉
You can search for "inuyasha change the world Massimiliano Alto" on youtube for an English version of the first opening, sung by the first Italian voice actor of Inuyasha (they changed him, or maybe all the voice cast, after the first batch of episodes idk why), Massimiliano "Max" Alto.

That's the original, with voices. Suddenly, where you saw it, it had an edited version
The Kikyo's scene when the bgm pops up.... OMFG.... Tears.
Y el op 7 de Inuyasha kanketsu-hen?
Have 1 more opening.

It's missing opening 7 😅
The openings to inuyasha are far inferior to the endings, inuyasha is one of those anime where only the endings were AMAZING and the openings were barely mid.
That’s wrong though, the ED’s are legendary but the openings are pretty high tier themselves
Not a huge fan of this series but I love the author's other works.
