Hes smart to do that. You can see that Hasan is a master at avoiding putting his personal beliefs anywhere as much as possible, unless it's a personal memory orb feeling that has zero consequences. He fully knows that he is on a platform that emits a far reaching audience and how offense and sensationalism works in media today.

I saw one of his earliest shows where the entire performance was about his personal life, family and feelings about growing up.
He's definitely capable of expressing them, and the one he did about Saudi Arabia , I couldn't believe he was saying the things he was he did. Thinking 'He knows these people tortured killed, sawed a guy to pieces, and put the middle finger up to the U.S. and world community over doing anything to them for it. Haven't watched him in a while. Is he softening his edge? I wouldn't blame him if he did, but I like him because of his ruthlessly insightful no holds barred cutting comedy.

...and I don't mean "brown" as defined by color raceist. It's pretty well defined by the inventors and craters of the "game." What does "Real Brown" mean to YOU?
"In the 18th and 19th century, racialist written works proposed geographically based "scientific" differences among "the races." Many of these racial models assigned colors to the groups described, and some included a "brown race" as in the following:
Early German anthropologist Johann Blumenbach extended Linnaeus' four-color race model by adding the brown race, "Malay race", which included both the Malay division of Austronesian (Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Pattani, Sumatra, Madagascar, Formosans, etc.) and Polynesians and Melanesians of Pacific Islands, as well as Papuans and Aborigines of Australia.
In 1775, "John Hunter of Edinburg included under the label light brown, Southern Europeans, Sicilians, Abyssinians, the Spanish, Persians, Turks and Laplanders, and under the label brown, Tartars, Africans on the Mediterranean and the Chinese."[4]
Jean Baptiste Julien d'Omalius d'Halloy's five-race scheme differed from Blumenbach's by including Ethiopians in the brown race, as well as Oceanic peoples. Louis Figuier adopted and adapted d'Omalius d'Halloy's classification and also included Egyptians in the brown race.
In 1915, Donald Mackenzie conceived a "Mediterranean or Brown race, the eastern branch of which reaches to India and the western to the British Isles... [and includes] predynastic Egyptians... [and some populations of] Neolithic man".

The most prevalent superstitions that I had in my household, well whole community in a way was not cross first if a black cat crosses the road (nice for blackmailing superstitious people)
second was if you somehow headbutted another person's head (normally, not full WWE style), you _had_ to tap your head with theirs again or else you'll grow out horns (again, very nice trick to mess with superstitious people)
Lastly would be that if your leg hit another person's leg or if it touched anything paper related, you _have_ to do the symbol Christians do but only half (touching the forehead/lips then the point where your neck meets your torso) because it's considered bad in the first case and also because paper is correlated to Saraswati, the god of Knowledge and Music (sports are excluded in this somehow :P)
Those three were and still are the most famous ones here I guess (maybe the cat one is not that famous anymore) and pretty good ways to mess with your friends/family if they're brought up in here
(wow I really wrote all of that)

    • @user-ox5nh8kx1l
      @user-ox5nh8kx1l 4 года назад

He's actually referring to a condition called pseudocyesis, which is very rare and often misattributed to psychological causes (i.e. the woman or man believing they are pregnant).
One of the known causes is cancer. Others are physical changes due to trauma/depression. Men will have phantom pregnancies along with their partner's very real pregnancy.
A lot of resources that I've encountered don't consider whether the woman/man actually wants to be pregnant and just assumes that they wanted a child so bad that their body made up a pregnancy. Its just easier for people to assume all traditionally female problems are psychosomatic though so...

But in the absence of light, at night, only large amounts of CO2 is emitted because of normal respiration and the absence of photosynthesis.

Honestly, I agree with Hassan. Idk, as an Indian Muslim, there's not much of a festival aspect to Eid here in America as compared to India. I live in New York and the most I do is just go pray at the mosque on 96, go out with the family to Jackson Heights (which is like brown Chinatown) eat at some restaurant and then just chill with some friends. There's no real "cultural festivities" or "spirit" like with Christmas. But then again America had like a good three centuries to develop the Christmas/Hannukah spirit. I guess it just falls down to us to develop Eid as a holiday for future generations.

14:06 omg my mom used to tell me all the time. we'd go jogging in this old parking space and it was like full of trees now. so, i got really tired jogging so i sat under the tree (i was 10) and she told me that exact thing that bad spirits will follow you. i got so scared but then few years later in middle school, i sat under a tree waiting to be picked up and just to prove her wrong, she wasnt even there but in my mind i was like "mom, you're wrong, this is nice". then i saw a bunch of ants all over my skirt and ran the hell away.

We can have a very fun Eid here in Malaysia. We even celebrate it for the whole month. We have open houses, we give money in packets to children, we eat our traditional food which normally won't be eaten during normal day, we visit relatives and friends, we wear new dresses for a month. We capitalize Eid big here.

I love how relatable Hasan is. His retelling of his senior year is SO TRUE, and to think he was a completely normal human being before exploding into fame 😂

Personally, I think eid mascot should be Al-Hakawati (The Storyteller).
a Hakawati is the person who is known for his/her talent in storytelling. They attract everyone to sit and eagerly listen to them telling meaningful stories with universal wisdom. And they usually do it in Ramadan and Eid.
