Saw Nate in Iraq when he came for the troops, FF two years later after his Netflix special came out. I was late getting tickets to see his show in Dallas and was super bummed. I messaged him on Twotter and said how i was sad i had to miss his show but appreciate him coming to Iraq and wished him well on all his success. Not more than 10 minutes later, he stated i had two tickets, front row, to an already oversold show waiting for me at will call and told me to stay afterward and hang with him. We chatted aftwr and got some pictures and was truly a great night. He is the polar opposite of how he was treated by the comics bigger than him he was talking about. Stand up dude that I would def take a bullet for lmao!!!

Dude i run my own lawncare company and most weeks i cut about 60 yards by myself. 2 weeks ago the heat index was about 110 degrees and i had no choice but to work 10 hour day in that shit. I weigh myself before and after work on the hottest days and some days i lose 10 pounds just from sweat. I started this business 5 years ago and love it because i do whatever i want and it keeps me in shape. My previous job before this....I was an accountant for one of the biggest lawfirms in America so i definitely dont fit the profile lol. Im 38 and i will never go back to a regular 9 to 5 job for the rest of my life.

I worked for the biggest mesothelioma law firm in America and was one of 7 accountants and I wrote over a million in checks every day just myself. When I would walk in I would habe a stack of folders on my desk and my main job was to get the total settlement amount and break it down amongst family members depending on the percentage they were due and write checks. After years I got really depressed because of the monotony and even worse was I came to the realization that every one of those folders on my desk everyday represent someone who died a horrible death with mesothelioma. I started taking pain killers to numb myself. Ultimately it lead to a full on heroin addiction thay culminated in me dying while laying next to my wife in bed. Thankfully by a miracle my dog somehow knew and literally woke my wife up who found me blue and not breathing. Paramedics said I had about 2 minutes before there was no coming back. I decided to get clean and a couple months into sobriety I really realized my job was just sucking the happiness out of me so I quit. I spent close to 20k on credit cards. To get a truck, trailer, 2 mowers and the other random stuff and got to work building my business. Thay was 5 years ago. I paid thay 20k off in 2 years and now I work just for myself. It really helps me mentally to be forced to be in the sun and do physical activity. I've never lifted a weight in my life and I'm really pale. I've lost 60 pounds, have a great tan, and I'm by far in the best shape of my life. Even when it's unbelievably hot and I'm dying in the heat I think of those days sitting in an office and it motivates me even more because I've never regretted my decision a single time. The major problem is you can't do this forever like you can accounting but if you do it right you eventually just habe others doing it for you as you get older and can't physically hold up. Good luck brother I hope you find fulfillment and happiness one way or another
The interesting part of Nate's story is that Louis CK Introduced Jerry Seinfeld in the exact same way and he got reprimanded for it. When Louis explained it he said that Jerry reprimanded him because that type of introduction sets a certain standard for the performance that they may not meet.
I appreciate Nate being very open and honest about some of his negative experiences with bigger comics while also not tearing them down. Nate seems like a great dude.
He just played in a nationally televised golf event with a ton of athletes, actors, etc… Nate even tried to help them.. ask about it.. he is a massive golf fan
I love hearing about pros not being cut out for construction or landscaping. I build houses for a living and I'd say it's easy! Especially if you're (humble brag) the most athletic kid at camp
Usually the comedians they have on the bus are heavy with the schtick, just completely "ON" the whole time. This guy was funny without being too over the top, he was just talking like a regular dude and being funny without trying too hard. 10/10 👍🏿

Here’s the truth. Travis Barker has impacted way more, way longer, over several bands, several genres, he’s the studio drummer for so many people it’ll blow your mind. His showmanship is insane. When he plays songs in other genres, he doesn’t make everything sound “punk rock” like siberiano makes everything he plays sound like “power metal” Siberiano’s cover of “Travis barkers best groove ever” is awful. It’s sloppy. He just fills in extra quick notes to show off and still doesn’t hit the right ones on time. Travis creates things that Siberiano covers. Not the other way around. I’ll even argue that the Rev (james owen sullivan) (avenged sevenfold) is better than siberiano. You could dig him out of his grave and his skeleton would outperform siberiano. I appreciate your fandom though, he is deserving of it, he’s just not *there*.

Saying he is "good" sort of proves your opinion is just "good", because Travis is a genius savant on drums. You should look at some documentaries about him. Behind the scenes, extras, etc...his talent is off the charts. He is part of Blink182 and that might be the biggest knock on him. Had he been in a bigger band, a la Dave Grohl, people would have a different opinion. Travis is one of the best drummers ever. That can't be disputed.
