This trailer got me so hyped, new legacy dungeons, bosses, weapon types, spells etc. is gonna be so sick! Messmer looks cool af too I can’t wait to fight him and the other bosses that await. This is probably the most highly anticipated dlc of all time and honestly fromsoft deserves all the success they get
i can already imagine all the tier list youwy will squeeze out of this. elden ring is the lemon that keeps on giving.
9:22 I definitely have to disagree with you concerning DLC level design. The DLCs FromSoft put out over the years contain some of the best looking, intricate (not necessarily fun) areas.
- Oolacile Township (DS1)
- Shulva, Sanctum City (DS2)
- Brume Tower (DS2)
- The Ringed City (DS3)
- Research Hall (BB)
Just to name a couple of the more obvious candidates for exceptional areas/locations.
The point I was making is that the dlc does better than the base game when it comes to things like bosses, music, weapons and armor but level design was always done best in the base game.

no tthe first one was a charecter that was cut content called "rico" who's quest involved going to mogh's palace to find miquealla and the end voice im pretty sure is miqulla or a new charecter

@@dtanobo Yeah and the Famitsu interview Miyazaki said there will be great Katana so like an Odachi, dual shields reverse blades and even of course new weapons in existing types.
But that’s only from what I saw translated on the interview since it was in Japanese.

Not really, they said at least the size of Limgrave if not larger, and Limgrave is not a small area if you count weeping peninsula and Siofra river. Plus they said they wanted to focus on density of content, so it will probably be even more dense with more meaningful content than the base game. The dlc always houses the best content in the game, and they were already generous with the content in the base game so I don’t expect the dlc to be different.
They also said the base game was 30 hours long, so, yeah..

Okay, first of all, Messmer the Impaler... Brings to mind Vlad the Impaler, a.k.a. Dracula, a.k.a. Son of The Dragon. His snakes even have bat wings. But his name? "Messmer"? As in, mesmerizing? Like how Miquella was said to be able to make people love him?
Secondly, you know how FromSoft has this history of having a character in their DLCs who foreshadows their next big game? Chester foreshadowing Bloodborne. Yamamura foreshadowing Sekiro. Are we going to get a character like that in Elden Ring?

But they said like the size of Limgrave or bigger. They also focused on density with lots of legacy dungeons and smaller ones. It sounds like 20-30h of gameplay. Live service games takes 40 buck for a skin.
