I've been looking into getting this for my Ecoboost. Do you have one in yours? Assuming you have an Ecoboost? Did you notice any difference in performance? Catch can?
Brandon Tang I put one on mine and it made my car leak oil down to the bottom.. got scared but to find out.. it was the breather leaking oil down the intake manifold all over my oil pan and made me drip oil in the driveway.. you need the breather can that catches the oil. It’s on UPR Products website for 299
If you gets lots of blow by then catch can may be better option. Either way its a must for Ecoboost. Turbo , blower etc. Get them on both sides for you eco
Hello There! I have few Question and I like to here your honest answer of my questions, #1 why did you put that Crankcase Breather in your car? what make you do that? and the other question is that I notice that you are using a Oil Catch Can in your car But! I did not see in that installation having a One Direction valve to that installation. You Don't Think that some pressure could come back from your intake and blow the oil that you have in your catch can back to your engine I will appreciate if you could Answer those question because I am in the process of doing the same thing to my car and making mistake could cost you so much money due you don't what what are you doing at the moment.
The breather will relieve some of that crank pressure. To answer your other question, there’s a check valve in the oem valve cover connection to which that oil catch can connects to.
Update on the breather setup
I think this might help the direct injection intake valve deposit problem on ecoboost?
