But in the interest of the protecting the integrity and future of the nation, it's important to reconcile with the tragedies of the past to allow healing. But during the 1980s period innocent Sikhs who were completely unconnected were persecuted (using a milder language on purpose). He is saying that historical wrong needs to be acknowledged and a simple apology would help the community heal. That will also weaken the arguments of the current Khalistani movement.

OMG, I also lived at Kidwai Nagar East during my childhood and had gone to the Govt. Boys. Sr. Sec School there. Never knew that you lived there too, probably in the D 2 Flats. Whatever happened was so very painful for all of us. I was a kid in class 7 then. The love and respect for our Sikh brothers had always been there as our family values and will continue to grow with generations to come.

But in the interest of the protecting the integrity and future of the nation, it's important to reconcile with the tragedies of the past to allow healing. But during the 1980s period innocent Sikhs who were completely unconnected were persecuted (using a milder language on purpose). He is saying that historical wrong needs to be acknowledged and a simple apology would help the community heal. That will also weaken the arguments of the current Khalistani movement.

OMG, I also lived at Kidwai Nagar East during my childhood and had gone to the Govt. Boys. Sr. Sec School there. Never knew that you lived there too, probably in the D 2 Flats.
