That bonus tip is fantastic. I never thought of that. My excuse to not do it is that, with old age, I have gotten to enjoy more and more finding out I am/was wrong. My previous nervousness and sensitivity go old and weak. I finally had to find a nice facility for it. I never visit - can't remember the address. Gifts . . . great way to look at it. Christmas isn't just on Christmas anymore.

Thanks for the helpful ideas. I have observed, in many endeavors the gateway to becoming a master is successfully dealing with things that go wrong.

Thanks so much! That's what I've found as well. I have to suppress the self-critical voice that says mastering means not making mistakes (and I wish I made fewer) but being able to create an experience through mistakes just feels like a necessary skill to be a complete performer.

How do you like your mini maton? I’m thinking of getting one.

I absolutely love it. It's actually a Nashville EBG808C, but it's my favorite guitar for pure sound. I think I saw Carl Wockner talking about Maton guitars and I took a plunge and bought it online since they didn't have any at local shops.
Having said that, a couple things I learned since I got it are that the dimensions are different than most other guitars - I needed a specific truss rod adjustment tool and a specific feedback buster for it. And mine has a low-frequency hum that I EQ out with a pedal that's newer to my setup than this video. But on the whole, I adore it.

@@RickSandersMusic I literally bought a mini Maton today! I’m looking online for a feedback buster right now that fits the sound hole.
If you have any advice to make this thing sound great plugged in I’m all ears!
