I don't know when Gabe recorded this vs uploading, but he has been sick with a cold, flu (both have been mentioned) or heaven help him, COVID, for several days. If he recorded this under those conditions then he is someone who is committed to "the show must go on."
I never want Gabe to lose his accent. It's an endearing quality. That said, and this is a very good improvement, he does still need to work on a few words here and there.
I have encouraged, urged, him to get out of the dining/living room where so many of his latest performances have taken place and back into a decent studio. The acoustics are interfering with a quality production.
All-in-all, I love the man, and I believe with all my heart he could be one of the best cover artists in the world. The journey is a long and exciting one.

Everyone else idly sits by and throws hosannas his way, many without knowing the song, the lyrics, or the backstory of the song's creation and intent. I've given up following them as I know going in exactly what to expect.

How do you communicate with him? I love Gabriel:, so sweet and sincere. I hope he’s being well managed so the music industry doesn’t impact his innocence.
@@rw7668 Unfortunately, I communicate with him the same as most of us do - through comments to his uploaded performances. I wish I personally had his ear but I do not. All I can do is hope he reads my comments and takes them to heart with the love in which they are given.
I could be wrong, but I don't believe Gabe has any ongoing business with the music industry. He recorded three songs with Maximus Records but that's as far as that went. Other than that short stint, everything you see from Gabe is self-produced. I wish he would allow someone to manage him.

Best cover I've ever heard. Loved how he used his vocal fry. I agree with you about the soundtracks taking away. I'd rather hear a pianist or acoustic guitarist play with him while he sings or just those two instruments. Sometimes less is more. 😊😊

I would be happy if you were on Gabriel's production team. It's good to have someone sincere, capable and well-intentioned around. He receives an avalanche of praise, it's good for self-esteem but he may lack sincere criticism to help his evolution. Anyway, I loved this cover and I've been listening to it on repeat for a while 😅

I disagree with you this guy only plays Gabriel to get us to subscribe to his page. his positive comments are really "Back Handed criticisms. The worst diss was stating that Gabriel was You Tuber and was not good enough to sing on stage with professionals. I've never heard any critic say that before about ANY PERFORMER. In my opinion, his negatives outweigh his positives. Lastly, reverb is present in a lot of R&B, Gospel, and Soul music is there a problem here.
