Thank you! I recently made an electric lock pick from an electric toothbrush ($5). I've gotten it to work a few times but I was sure that I had to be doing something wrong. Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... Thanks for the technique video.
Great video, straight to the point and really you laid out some good advice regarding the initial starting point for the pick gun with starting low and then moving upward to ensure aligning under the pins. BTW, what brand was the gun you used in the vid?
Hi great video, I’m new to using electric pick guns I have a southord pick, the problem I have which you may have advise on is I just keep getting over setting
I have a kronos multipick, which supposedly is supposed to be one of the best on the market and I'm finding it very hard to use. it almost seems like the power isn't strong enough or the springs in the lock are too resistant.
Gd informative Vid but have to Disagree with you in part..Some times it takes longer to keep buzzing the Lock ..inbetween squirting it with a Lube can indicate how much Crap is in the Lock by the Lube pushing the black crunge out Once its all started to loosen up then your Pins will bounce into position
Biggest pointer here is the pressure in the tension bar. Too much and you will trap pins in the shear line. Now, I have a couple electrics and the manual click guns, but really, they are the "Smash and Grab" of lock picking. Its like cheating on a math test. Sure, you get the grade and pass the class, but you have learned nothing. True lock picking requires an understanding of the mechanics involved and the acquired feel for individual pins. I wouldn't consider it a worthwhile skill set, if my 5 year old can do it.
Dude great lesson ! Been smithing for 20yrs now and believe it or not I just finally bought a pick gun lol
I've had the Kronos for a couple of years. Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us. Blessings!
Found this on the Lock Picking 101 Forum. Got my first EPG today and this vid has some good tips, thanks :-)
Thank you!

Great tutorial 👌 👍
What a good video
You might have touch a little bit on how much vibration/oscillation is recommended. I am assuming your electronic lock pick has an adjustment knob?
Where did you get the machine? And what is the name of the machine and thank you so much for the video it was very helpful
Have you found any locks it doesn't work for?
I have one of those two, and it works EVERY time. Only difference is mine has GLOCK written on the side.

Thanks! See the video description for the brand and where to buy.

Does the circular tension tool working better than the regular tension tool? Or does it work out the same ?

Most electric lockpicks are terrible I'm sorry to say. The one in this video broke after a few months. :(
yeah i bought a kronos and it came with a faulty button now i got a dino and its so much more powerful and seems to be doing the job so far
Great video
Will those work on door locks on cars
Kwikset locks aren't hard to pick loose tolerance always recommend higher end brand's, & very cheap brand's are finicky sometimes challenging
