Came across your videos a month or so ago. Since I have been watching everything that interests me, hundreds of videos. Years ago I bought a 29 or something piece lock pick set, really got into it and then lost interest slowly, very glad I found your videos as it has piqued my interest again, I purchased a better pick set, and have not been able to set them down. Thanks for the informative videos. I really enjoy them.
K0ester Dear sir,
You commented that you purchased a better pick set. Could you , please, be willing to inform me and the general public, of course, what brand name it is that now works well for you.
I thank you for your input.
How’s it going?
@@yinggamer7762 actually really good! 6 long years have passed since. Ive purchased many lockpicks and other tools of the same nature and have really ammased quite the knowledge base. I practice pretty regularly. I also have gotten into chemistry, and have made myself an amateur chemist. Have lots of glassware, chemicals, hotplates, stirrers, etc. Thats what takes most of my little free time lately, as I've since had 2 children, aged 4 and 1.
@@ronaldriddell9879 been 5 years since, so mabye no longer needed information. But I buy alot of sparrows brand pics and sets. Ive found them to be great quality.
One word I never expected to hear from BossBill... "Pimp-gun"... =D
Michael Berthelsen Yeah, I don't know why but it made me giggle hearing him say that! Not to mention the "you're retarded if you like that type of thing" tone he used! LOL
Thank you for your honest reviews and insight into everything lock related.
Bill wanted a challenge. So, to make it more difficult he tried to open the locks with this pick gun instead of his picks.
JUST PICKED MY FIRST LOCK THANK YOU FOR THE HELP
Found this channel recently. Just by watching you pick all different types of locks, I have learned a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of lock picking.
I literally was looking at sparrow hand cuff keys cuz I jus ordered one... Saw this. Liked the gun so wanted to check it out..... I subscribed almost immediately bcuz of your generosity, and giving back to a community you're a part of, while not really having anything to gain. Awesome work man. World needs more ppl like you.
Thx for all the videos bosnianbill. been binge watching them for a few days now and ordered my first picks and practice locks.
Prestige Clash fistie splinters!
Instead, why not take up the strongest, most robust lock you can find and really challenge yourself.
all in good time. i need to find where my feet are before i start running.
Me too. I just got a lock pick kit and a transparent practice lock. I wish the lock came with security pins, not just standards. I've moved onto trying my old school-issued master combo lock with a keyway on the back for the school admin to get in. No luck yet, but I'll try till I win!
fantastic give aways!
My wife got me an MDC lock for Valentine's day. Turns out, it functions exactly like a training lock!
I love your videos! You have moved me to become a lockpicker! I got some locks in the mail today from ebay, and some good picks will arrive soon! Thanks for inspiring me, my friend. Great show you have!
Thanks for your generosity, Bill!
Thanks for the review on this. I have been looking into buying one but wanted an honest review from someone beforehand
Thank you for reviews, picked up the sparrows snap gun. Still trying to get a lock open. Love the case.
Great video as usual, I love watching and learning from your channel.
I have one of these Sparrows' guns and I like it as my last resort after spp. I just got some bump keys so we'll see if that replaces the gun. Love your videos, Bill. I've learned a ton!
I’m FF and I’ve got my crew using this all the time now for non destructive entry. Old people fall and use their LifeAlerts to call us but their house is sealed? This works great. Before this, we either pulled a screen and hoped a window was unlocked, try to engage the garage door arm, or flat out force whatever door looks cheapest to repair or replace. We also use this to get into locked riser rooms, it works especially great for apartment riser rooms cause they have crappy locks. I bet we have a 90 percent success rate with these in getting the door open in less than 30 seconds.
The real cool thing was how much of a flex it was when I busted this out for the first time and got us right in through someone’s front door.
As a previous owner of a pick gun that didn't keep the tip parallel to the pins, and the double tap feature, makes this look like a good tool. I also like the finger tightening feature.
love the banjo music u threw in the middle
This is pretty great. The ability to open it up and maintain the guts is a huge plus.
That looks like the very best of its ilk that I have seen.
Thanks for the review.
OMG i was waiting for this video since the beginning , thanks bill
I used to replace factory screws with screws that have a nylon ball in the threaded area to fight vibration. Also replaced nuts with aa lock nut that had nylon in it. Helped a great deal, and no locktite to try to over come and none that ran down on the inside to cause problems. - DClaus
Blue locktite I imagine. Oh wow. I like the doubletap idea. Twice per pull of the trigger. Certainly is illegal in Commiefornia. Only ONE shot per pull of the trigger... :D
assault lock pick gun!! ha.
Yeah California is really a commie state 🙄
NIce sleek design. Definitely better quality the chinese made ones I've looked at.
Awesome Video Bill. Very Cool Pick Gun. I own the "Original Sparrows" one and it has been Amazing and very surprising what you can get into even Locks with Security Pins...! Keep up the great work. Nick.
I just found this channel, and it's very interesting! Keep up the awesome work!
I just bought one. Thanks Bill
I'm a professional firefighter and can honestly say I'd never use one of these tools. If there's a life safety issue that's behind a locked door, either the door or the frame will need to be replaced! 😂
I've recently started picking as a hobby (love puzzles) and I'm already a big fan of yours! keep up the good work!
TheOfficialHauntex is a possibility. They have a dog and a baby so they must be at least 30
The firefighters in our area started picking for situations where they don't have to do destructive entry... They come in and take the old locks off our hands every once in awhile.
I've heard the same from a few other firefighters too - nobody is going to waste time when lives are at stake. I hear stories of them taking an axe to the wall on a hunch so tearing up a door isn't going to be a problem.
Man I stopped practicing picking once I went to college but I gotta get back at it seeing these vids makes me wanna get way better again
You're so awesome. Very instructive videos ! greetings from Belgium
Great review Bill, I won't mind owning this tool.
Pick me, pick me 👍😉
Always enjoy the review vids.
I'm an absolute beginner and have been using a DI-NO strong pick gun. I find that massively uneven bitting can deny access even in poorly made locks with no security pins. And for locks with more even bitting I find a snake rake or city rake is quicker and less likely to give you a headache from the noise. The pick gun is cool but at my level I'd struggle to absolutely recommend it above SPP and raking.
been waiting to see this, good video bill
Love your videos! Always wanted a pick gun.
Ive had the same gun just a different brand for about half a year now. Took quite a while to get used to but now i can usually open a masterlock in 2 or 3 clicks.
Thanks Bill. I think I will try one of those.
Love your work.
one my fav. lock pick for key locks is the little swiss army knife with two blades.
nice review , I've been wondering abou one of these , going to pull the trigger now .
I bought this same/similar "double tap" set, Sparrow brand my case was black & my snap gun was a reddish colour. I'll be honest it has been the best pick-gun I have ever purchased. Living in Canada Lock-Picking can be a grey area. So I have limited choice on where to order from, luckily my supplier sold this particular kit, I was impressed by its packing alone, the picks it came with were of decent quality. It's by far the best pick-gun I've owned, little different then your in colour. The quality can be felt when compared with them aluminum tap welded jobs. I think my kit was 39$ plus the 6$ shipping _2 days) great video
Nice Package and nice Pick round ;)
Grettings from South Germany :D
Great video as always!
Great review. Just ordered one
For Kwikset and regular Schlage keyways, I have had a LOT of success using a gun similar to this.
very informative videos keep up the good work
The Dino snap gun at Multipick in Germany also has screws for assembly instead of rivets. So can also be opened.
hi bosnianbill ! try it like a bumpkey put tention on the wrench when you snap it, no tention before !!! the snap gun use the same principle as a bump key they hit the tumbler pin and make bounce the top pin pass the shear line .BTW tnx for your show , love it !
congrats to the winners! *wipes away tears*
Great review as usual thanks
Just ordered the night school kit from sparrows on the recommendation from your videos.
Good review mate just subscribed!
Nice snap gun, I will have to get one of those sometime.
Awesome review. Thanks
what is it about his videos im completely enthralled at every video i cant stop watching
Great review!
Love the snap gun Bill, pick me, pick me!!!
Exceptionally nice tool for a Lock Smith!
Sparrows makes some pretty good tools
yep
Trevenation crap
Its crap
I love these guns!
You can mod an electric toothbrush and it works amazingly well! Had the idea 2 days ago and it's vibrated open every lock I can find at my house! Works as well as the 380 dollar pro vibratory tool and it was a 20 dollar toothbrush haha
Great videos, thank you.
REALLY NICE LOOKING GUN
Lol I saw this dould tap and I was thinking of purchase this but I was looking for more Infor thanks love your clips
I also have come across your videos I really enjoy them
Thank you!
I do watch all ur videos!
Thank for your videos...
That worked better then I thought it would
Nice review
I've got to get that snap gun !
this looks pretty neat and bill always says what the pricw is its great
i don't make comments often but i would love to see a bumb or snap gun comparison to single pin picking on how long it takes to open a random lock that you don't know.
I love watching your video
Nice
The intro game is never weak.
I can confirm the lock pick gun works. Opens any lock in seconds. Mine has GLOCK written on the side though.......
I got the oversized Remmington model myself.
I have a butter knife
My key works wonders...
Keys are a myth.
Blood of Gaea doors are a illusion
I never thought of the cheap Brinks locks were harder than the master. Crazy.
yup the snap gun you are seeing in the review is the double tap snap gun. i own one of these and i own the flash snap gun wich is just a regular snap gun. not sure wich one i like better but both seem to work good.
Snap guns work on security pins but this does make more sense than the Brockage we own off of Amazon
Hi Bill, thanks again for another good honest review.
I have a little problem you might be able to help me with. As you may have read in my previous comments, I have started my locksmithing course. It's great. We're covering a lot in such a short time. I still have those PDFs if you'd like them, they cover everything you probably already know and maybe a few things you dont.
Anyhow. There are very strict regulations here on purchasing locksmithing tools. The tech college I'm training at has an arrangement with the Locksmith Supply Company here in Sydney, only problem is, we have to purchase the lot in one go.
I exhausted all my options for funding and resorted to setting up a gofundme. Would you mind if I dropped the link here and would you also mind sharing in within your locklab community? If not, I completely understand. What you'll get out of it though is a great challenge lock in a few weeks time and a skilled locksmith entering the trade in about 6 months time and from there I'll be sending you more locks as time becomes available.
I would not have got into it if not for your channel so you've already done a lot for me in that regard. I just need a little help as I'm starting to fall behind in the course as I've not yet been able to purchase my tool kit. The kit has a heap of locks in it that will be ours to keep so as I mentioned, you'll get most of them as challenge locks eventually.
That’s really nice
Congrats to the winners.
that is a cool way to open a lock
Thanks I almost bought it
Can you test some of the electric guns too? I wonder how they perform against mechanic ones.
"You lucky devil..."
+BosnianBill what kind of luck would the pick gun have against multi shear line SFIC cores? A pick gun isn't really on my wishlist, but I was just curious if you have tried it. It seems that the gun would be the ultimate random attack. Cheers Bill, love your work!
Gracias, importante herramienta
what shrink wrap do you use on your picks?
Hey bill, i was looking for a video where u use the comb pick but I didn't find it, do u have a link you can give me? Awesome video btw
i am saving up to buy a sparrows kit great video bill
how old are you?
y?
hahahaha i was worried you was gonna say that
i know best not tell him im onjly 12
Also, where's a good place to buy some security pins? I need the practice. Thanks.
I get mine from sellers on eBay and also from mrlock.com
that looks cool
How to beat the security pins?
It's funny how these things seem to show up in a lot of spy thrillers and caper movies
I'm trying to get started on lock picking. what is a good starter pick set?
Hi Bill....
Like most others, I was cruising RUclips and became hopelessly addicted to your videos.
Could you recommend a good pick set for a beginner like myself? Thanks.
Curtis Frew Hi Curtis a good set for beginners that I learned on and still use constantly is the Sparrows Tuxedo set. I would also recommend buying more tension wrenches because trust me you will need them.
Remember Bill, when it's a Master, you just have to ask nicely. ;-) No need for picking, either with the gun or anything other than a hair-pin or a zip-tie.
Is it avaliable in a downward version? Or can it be changed for a pins-down lock?
Quick question for anyone; I recently purchased a Master Lock 141DLF for 3.99 at a local store. I'm pretty sure it's just 4 standard pins, but some people on Reddit said there was 1 spool pin... Which i think sounds ridiculous, considering it's the first lock I've picked, and I did so using two paper clips.
The 141DLF is 4 standard pins; correct?
you're awesome bro
