    On the up side there shouldn't be much of a wait for food or the use the restroom. The vendors aren't making much. All in all a sad state of affairs.

    I hope that Glen Kuiper is now glad about how they tried to screw him over last year.

      Glen Kuiper should do some work with the SF Giants.

    The A,s need desperately a new stadium. A smaller one. They don't have a team to compete either. Whatever happened to the early 70's team?

      The A's ownership especially after Walter A. Haas died in 1995, Oakland City and Alameda County governments had chance after chance to find somewhere in Oakland (i.e. Jack London Square) or in the tri-cities area of either Hayward, Union City, or Fremont and build a baseball-only facility years ago and they failed.

    was here...sec 117 (behind home plate)...it's a sad thing that's happening. i feel especially bad for the players trying to do their thing in a mausoleum.......

      Ya, it’s definitely sad what is going on at the coliseum. Personally though, I don’t feel too bad for the players because realistically, some if not many of them would not be on an MLB team in a normal situation so I’m sure they’re just happy to be in the big leagues.

      Very sad! At least you were able to get the chance to check it a couple times before it is eventually gone.

      @@jerryp6731 ya, I wish Vegas would just get an expansion and the A's get a new owner who actually cares about the team.

    Will you go to any games in Sacramento? Didn’t the team raise ticket prices last year?

    • @BayAreaThrowbacks
      @BayAreaThrowbacks  5 месяцев назад

      I never get the tickets directly from the team so I don't even know to be honest. I always use third part sights. As for Sacramento, I don't think I will be driving out there to see them but I do have friends and family out there so I do plan to possibly go to at least one while visiting people out there.

      The female PA announcer is Amelia Schimmel.
      She's not bad. However, the A's fans miss the late Dick Callahan and Roy Steele.
