Top 10 Super Polymerization Targets in YuGiOh

- Опубликовано: 5 авг 2024
- The spell card super polymerization allows you to use your opponents monsters in order to go into a fusion monster for yourself, and since it can be used during your opponents turn, and the card can't be negated through normal means, makes it an excellent card to get rid of problem boss monsters. So in this list we'll go over 10 of the best cards you can have in your extra deck to be prepared against almost any deck.

This card is the personification of “Top Ten Anime Betrayals” when you’re playing with friends.
so true
Yep. Best part is a newly announced monster card is like a nerfed super poly, by himself.
Also to note, he is a dark level 4 dragon, so he covers quite a lot of possible categories.
black bird which card?
super poly'd my friends board of dragons to make 5 headed dragon while playing ojamas :p
Viet Dragon EVIL!!!!!
(Super polymerization exists)
Starving venom fusion dragon : now this looks a job for me
Cuz we need a little controversy
It feels so empty without me
Sad part is that Dimension Dragon only felt relevant if it weren't for Super Polymerization coming back.
@@thatman666 2016 : Clear wing > Odd eyes > Dark rebellion > starving venom.

Starving Venom: *You know the rules and so do I*
Who’d win. A very venomous dragon or one gooey boy.
Chicken or the egg? If we're talking Super Polymer targets; Mudragon. If vDragon is on field. Mudragon wins. If Mudragon is on the field. Mudragon wins. [If Super Polymer is not the condition, then vDragon wins because it can swing over it.]
Maybe the dragon would win if it ate something.
If we’re talking stats, the Venom Dragon. If not, probably the gooey boy
Excuse me! This "gooey boy" has a name. It's Swampert.
ojamas
I thought number one would be "your opponent", like Jaden did with Yubel
FELLAS?
Wish he did that
I can just imagine someone proposing like this
"I fuse with you! Become one with me forever!"
*Passionately fucks*
@@imhappy._.Everyonr else at the locals: D:
Honorable mention: every El Shaddoll fusion (besides Apkallone).
Why not Apkallone?
@@aroperdope All Shaddoll Fusions besides Apkallone only require one Shaddoll monster + 1 monster of their attribute (so one Light monster for Contruct, one Dark monster for Winda etc.), while Apkallone specifically requires 2 Shaddoll monsters with different attributes. So unless you're playing the mirror match, Super Poly won't do you any good.
@@ShikanRaider if anything it'll greaten your minus
Also besides Wendigo, summoning Wendigo isn't worth it in any situation.
@@twitertaker Unless you're really desperate to mill a MPB with Shaddoll Fusion and kick off a Good Stuff Link combo for...some reason...?
Yuri lost so that Predaplant and Starving Venom could live in the meta!
Lair of Darkness makes ALOT of these dark fusions and even Mudragon, way more doable. As like Zombie World, it turns all monsters on the field to Dark Attribute. Then it's free reign for your Predaplant and Venom Fusion Dragon monsters to be summoned any time your opponent's monsters aren't immune to card effects or fusion (and of course when you have the now Semi-limited Super Poly.)
Super poly is only semi? I though it was limited.
It's only semi limited in ocg in tcg it's at 3
@@tourguideplays5477 and probably is goin to stay for a long time at 3 :))
youre still forgetting the quick effect.
Even if they're immune, if Lair Or ZW are already on the field, since it's a continuous effect, it still affects those monsters

I really like those two
I've been asking for the best level/rank/link 1 monsters.
Same
These are really good especially tuner
The issue with the second one is that there are like 15-20 link 1 monsters so there’s not a lot to choose from
I just looked this video yesterday, and I was sad that there wasn't one from you. AND NOW YOU'VE READ MY MIND. WHAT THE FRICK.
BRO I WAS JUST LOOKING THIS CARD UP WHAT TIMING
I heard in Australia you guy's can grow up to 6in long and eat birds and etc
Akinlabi St.Clair
Eat spiders 🥕🐡Æugh
Good thing you didn't miss the timing!
Um...
No lie I was thinking about this card and what combos could it make
Honourable mention: All the Omni-HEROs(just 1 elemental HERO monster + 1 Monster of any attribute).
when it comes to best usage omni heroes require 1 of your card while everything in this list just eats 2 of your opponents cards and have decent effects too.
@@mudit_mathur let's say your opponent uses monster reborn or steals it in another way to take away the potential of you then making combos with it ik it's situational but it still happens. Also there are heroes who activate their effects in the gy or when/if they're sent to the gy also with miracle fusion you are able to use the two cards sent to gy one of the activation and one for the material of super poly which hero can recover with wonder driver
Especially Escuridao(for being Dark)
Super Poly is great in a HERO deck too. most fusion HERO monsters just require any HERO monster and then another monster with a specific attribute.
super poly is actually a hero card, is used by jaden on the gx anime, yes is that old
Predaplant Triphyoverutum can easily be summoned with "Lair of Darkness" as Field Spell Card.
only time ive gotten off without lair was against rokkets
Not to mention Starving Venom and Dragostapelia, yet with the additional benefit of not being as reliant on it as Dragonecro is on Zombie World; Lair of Yuri looks pretty lit.
I agree
What's your point so can starving venom fusion dragon
Yep, that's why I run Lair in my Predaplant/Gimmick Puppet deck (it's a strange sounding combo, but it works, in Master Due atleastl)
Yuri pulled a sneaky on us when he pulled super poly.
Good video I like how you break things down and give a clear example of what the cards do! Keep it up
Starving venom fusion dragon was the FIRST card I put in my deck when I got back into the game LMAO, I'm glad it's high on the list

Here's an interesting idea, top 10 level 1 Monsters
5 Headed Dragon could technically be a good target if DNA surgery or Buster Dragon is on the field
Or if your opponent is running turbo with 3 shooting quasar dragon and 2 stardust syfr.
Yes, but no,
There's quite a few decks that don't end on a board of more than 3 monsters,
So you'd be required to use your own resources.
Ofcourse 5 Headed dragon is really good,
But the amount of things that could go wrong make it not a great SuperPoly Target.
nick lombardi 3 shooting quasar dragons and 2 Stardust Syfr? Wtf? lol
I tried a deck based on this, it never works
super poly is used to break boards becus it cant be chained to. setting a trap card first...which can easily be distrupted before you can super poly is bad. there is also the fact that opponent might not have 5 monsters. even relying on opponent having 2 monsters while you have none for odd eyes fusion is a bad strategy.
Glad to see Dragonecro finally make one of these lists. I use to run it all the time in my Zombie decks.
Great job on pronouncing Triphyoverutum so effortlessly!! Some of the Predaplants have names that take major effort to pronounce.
I think you can easily switch #6 Predaplant Triphyovertum with #5 World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke. I find 3 DARK monsters far more common than 3 Link monsters, even back in mid 2020.
I used Triphyoverutum on a friend recently and he said, "you just gon hit me with Trif Gaming?"
and you had the predaplant pendulum in ur scale
@@jet_set8648 if only, haha. That thing is kinda bad, isn't it?
This was actually useful as Im getting into using super poly.
Top 10 monsters that can increase their attack beyond 8000 either by their own effects or archetype playstyle and support?

@@someperson8569 Montage Dragon & King of the Skull Servants chuckle in the distance.

Uria, Slyfer (GL)
utopia double, uforoid fighter, buster blader fusion thing, gilford the legend...firewall looped little swordsman of aile
It wasn't until Arc V that Super Poly started to see a bunch of play, and that was because of Starving Venom. We got Super Poly early into 5ds, and back then, we only had the Omni Heroes, and the only other kind of decent target I can think of was Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste since it took and Dragon Synchro and any warrior monster, so with monsters like Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Dragon seeing play at the time for being high attack generic synchros with decent effects, it was an option.
Thanks for inspiring me and show me cards I didn't know before
We're slowly climbing up the percentage of people subscribing. I'm happy for you dude
As someone who uses Predaplants and Super-Poly I am very happy :D !
Thank you for making this, now I know which to side deck so I can deal with stupid unbeatable decks.
I really need this vid. Thank you 👍👍👍👍
Great video 👍
Honorable Mention: First of the Dragons
Lv9 Dragon 2700Atk/2000Def
2 Normal monsters (including tokens)
“Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can only control 1 "First of the Dragons". This card cannot be destroyed by battle, except by battle with a Normal Monster, and is unaffected by other monsters' effects.”
I’ve been using this as a niche way to counter Auroradon and Linkross combo. Especially since First of the Dragons is a big wall that can only be removed with S/T or tributing.
My opponent: *Sets up an unbreakable board of negates*
Super Poly and Starving Venom: "Allow us to introduce ourselves"
What about 10 cards that affect game phases? Like Time Seal, Timeater, Terminal World, Solomon's Lawbook, Soul Devouring Bamboo Sword, etc.
And of course there's Yata-Garasu, but I don't know if you'd count that as already being used in a video.
MonochromeTrouble You just do the list so there’s no need of the video xD
Solomon’s lawbook: the most big brain counter to doomking balerdroch.
Avi Kessler imagine thinking law book will stop the fucking chad balerdroch is
Niko ???
Who is Tim, and what did he do to bring the Timeater upon himself?
THANKS BRO NOW IM GONNA ADD MUD DRAGON IN MY DECK IT WAS A GREAT HELP THX :]
pretty good man!
Hex card or “king of the swamp” is pretty useful to run on your own side. Use them to make up for specific named cards and super poly appropriate enemy cards.
Destiny hero Phoenix enforcer: I fear no man
Dracostapella: exists
Phoenix enforcer: but that…thing, scares me
Top 10 times I was this early for a Duel Log video
Super Polymerization is best to be used with Predaplants. Just snatch any dark monsters of your opponent. I just love Super Poly soo much! Whenever I see that card the first thing I think of is Supreme King Judai using it and mopping the floor with everyone.
Neat a list of starving venom and 9 of his buddies
Special mention to Idaten the Conqueror Star, since it can be used to remove both Baronne de Fleur and DPE. Feels good to do it in master duel.
Mans really pronounced Triphyovertum correctly in one go.
He put how to pronounce it in the description as well, probably how he knew
But he forgot to pronounce the @ for number 3 ;)
3 years ago but this list is still good. are there any more targets aside from Garuna?
After hearing that 31% statement, you earned yourself a sub
nice explanation of Diplexer Chimera given link/cyberse hate and how Salamangreat Violet Chimera would see more play (salamangreat popular, and any link though you didn't mention that last limit directly).

Honorable mentions
El Shaddoll monsters
Omni-Heroes (Gaia, Shining, Absolute Zero, Nova, Great Tornado and, Esca.)
Dropping an absolute zero using your opponents monster then immediately mask changing it into an acid to wipe their field. I've never seen someone take that without visibly reacting
Question about Mudragon of the swamp: Can you use a fusion substitute material (like King Of The Swamp) for its fusion? Like, King Of The Swamp and another Aqua-type WATER-attribute monster?
The intro to this video makes it feel like Super Poly just OD'd on bath salts at a brothel and were watching a memoir of it's best moments so it's family doesn't have to live with a tarnished legacy.
I think another card that is worth a mention, even thought it's not relevant in the current meta is First of the Dragons, the materials are 2 Normal monsters so if a deck becomes relevant and happens to focus on normal monsters OR uses tokens somewhere on their combo (they are treated as normal monsters) this card can be very troublesome to get rid off since he's immune to effect monsters (battle and effects)
Day 67: What about top 10 cards with retrains, ie Magician of Black Chaos -> Dark Magician of Chaos?
I usually watch the whole video , but for some reason I was only interested on the cards that I knew the day I watched this so I had to come back and watch the video again
Garura would probably be number 1 if this list was more recent
Here's a suggestion
Top 10 Cards that Have Effects that can Miss Timing
Are there enough cards to allow for more variety in the effects? One could probably build an entire list with just, for example, monsters whose effects trigger when they hit the grave and miss if used as summoning material. Like maybe have the list use as many different triggers as possible to also serve as a way to teach why effects miss timing and how to avoid it.
It could maybe stand to be a Top 5 instead I'll admit.
This might be ignorant, but wouldn't tryphorvetum be better for the same reason play sphere mode as opposed to lava golem these days? I suppose sphere mode can hit anything. Is that the difference?
@TheDuelLogs what next tier 1 deck should I make 😤🤔
ur voice is great for count downs lol Can you do best extra deck monsters with graveyard effects?

This about a few years late. But u can also use super poly if ur running a metalfoes deck. Since a majority of the non effect fusions second requirement are monsters with attack points. Which makes them pretty useful for just wiping an opponent's board. Especially if u target the 3000 beater non effect fusion which requires one metalfoes monster and 2 monsters with 3000 or below attack.
Infernoids-Lair, also playing super poly because it's always live, is the most fun I've hab with a deck in a long time. Can't say the same about my friends.
Another good one I think is Predaplant Chimerafflesia. It's materials are: 1 "Predaplant" Monster + 1 DARK Monster, so it can easily be brought out with Verte Anaconda. (It has a rather mediocre effect though)
It’s fascinating to see how much the Yugioh metagame has changed.
Is it better compared to before or worse ? I stopped playing during Synchro era and i saw people complaining non stop about the new metas being cancerous
@@A.Froster well it is before anyone can u any deck they want and win. now it not only really fast or like mystic mine deck. u basicly don't have a chance lol. unless u use like mystic mine, meta decks, anti metas, and so forth lol
Good idea you could do in future videos, have a quick slide of the 10 cards at the end of the video as a recap. Although, people might be lazy and just skip to that list instead of watching, so maybe not.
Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon is a great one if you are playing with or against cyber dragon decks. Also i was playing predaplants and for some god forsaken reason i teched in the one that asks for a dragon and a machine as materials and i summoned it a couple of times
For salamangreat and invoker monster in this list, it's not only for you playing against those decks, it's good if you use those decks too.
I played Blue eyes Ultimate dragon as a waking the dragon target. Ended up using it on a blue eyes player right before he went to his rank 8 plays with super poly.
#1 -mudragon of the swamp. It’s nice to know you have a sense of humor
ty you hellp a lot
adn surgery and super polimerization for summon chimeratech is not good nowdays?
I great video idea I think would be top 10 worst Monsters that negate effects if you haven’t already
Out of curiosity, will you be updating this top 10 list?
I remember when Syncros came out and especialy XYZ. Nobody was playing fusions. Now? They are damn good! In fact I would like to see Rituals doing good because this is the only special summon that isn't good I believe. Okay we have Gishki which is really good but what else is good?
An updated 2022 or a master duel version of this video would be very helpful right now since the fusion festival is going on in Master duel. Most of these are extremely outdated and only spot 1, 2 and 3 are kinda viable.
Why are Deviantart card images used for some of the cards shown in the video?
Sometimes those effects are incorrect, or the name isn't accurate.
Knightmare Unicorn, used during the #1 explanation, doesn't use the correct name.
You could also use DNA Surgery in place of Zombie World for Draconecro or Diplexer.
DNA Transplant would be good for the Predaplants, SVF Dragon, and Mudragon.
I would've added the chimeratech cards. Specifically the first one ever. I once had an ultimate combo for it were I'd have a cyber dragon of some sort on the field with DNA surgery and return from a different dimension on the ready. Those traps + super poly = overkill win. Of course that was before some of the cards were banned.
Chimeratech megafleet dragon is a go-to card to break link monsters
Hell fortress dragon and dna surgery to machine types with one cyber dragon and you can break pretty much any board
Now that we're back in the Fusion meta, I'm back here again for reference.
Hey I just thought maybe it can kinda fit the theme of the channel nicely. What if you changed your picture to the Forbidden Scriptures girl? I feel like it fits a bit
Muh Dragon of the Swamp
