What i love with Jon is that he is always doing something new or creative in each of his drum tracks, I mean he didnt write this but i loove his drumming in Ruination. He is sure one of the tightest and best Death drummers out there!

He uses the the same pedals as Chris Adler. Trick Pro-v1's. I think I should definitely save up for some of those because if two of my most favorite drummers use them they must be great.
@supaman2011 not necessarily. im not gonna lie, they are DAMN good pedals that you should save up for. but just because your favorite drummers doesn't mean that they're the best. there is NO "best" pedal, you just have to find which one works for you
Not true dude. I had a a pair of Trick Bigfoot Pedals and they were just heavy and lacked as adjustments as the Axis A Longbord. My experience with Axis (going on 10 years) has been quite good and the pedals have been very tough. I used to have issues with the heel hinge but it was an old model and they fixed it at no cost to me. I might add that they have the most reliable trigger system on the market (George Kollias, David Haley).

I like how jon looks like a normal guy, kind of built in the arms and all cuz of his drumming ability...then u get down to his calves. they look like theyre made out of steel haha. U double bass that fast, ur bound to have legs that bullets cant even pierce haha

You know why? because they are light as fuck and have a special spring system that brings power but doesnt make you do a whole lot of work. I play with Tama Iron Cobras. Theyre heavy as fuck. Cant afford the Axis's

Yes he did indeed. I loved Doom. It was a very original sound. Then.... Genesis came out... wasn't a big fan at all. Ruination tho.... a great mixture with a hell of alot more technicality,
I'm not too sure about Job for a Cowboy to be honest. They're really technical and all that. Jon Rice is a sick drummer. But as far as the guitar point of view goes I swear that the album Ruination is just the same death metal styled riff over and over again. Gets abit tedious if you ask me and I listen to Nile! xD One other thing that I don't understand about Ruination is that Job for a Cowboy we're fairly reknowned for their epic breakdowns. Yet Ruination, has guess how many.....ZILCH! :( xo
