Congrats to Billy Gardell on his major weight loss. As a person with Type 2 diabetes, it's great to know that his diabetes is reversed. A terrific guy!
@@samanthacole4395 It's not. Even if we're strictly talking about type 2 there are medications that taken long term can affect your sugar and cause pancreatic changes that often aren't reversible. High dosage steroids (like Prednisone) for example can alter blood chemistry over time and people can become diabetic. Which typically doesn't go away over time even when medication ends. And there are many health issues that may require the use of such medications long term (auto immune diseases, cancer, etc).
I didn't know who this man was until I heard his voice. When it hit me my jaw kind of hit the floor. its wild how different he looks. I'm glad he did the work to stay with us.
@@circusbrains having surgery is work. My take on this is what makes the difference is how you lose the weight. I think "some" people that lose the weight by by-pass surgery they lose the weight too fast and they look older. I wouldn’t have recognized him, but his voice is unmistakable. Congrat’s Billy!
I'm glad Billy is feeling better. He deserves a happy life.
What an inspiration You are Billy ! Funny, inteligent and now slim, healthy and handsome ! Greetings from polish fans !
What a beautiful interview!
Congrats to Billy Gardell on your weight loss , am still try to walk on the same path, really encourage with your testimony. You look so amazing👍
He looks like a completely different person. It's definitely a major transformation. Great job Billy.
Billy is one of the nicest comics off stage. Show was fantastic but he was so willing to just engage with my entire family afterwards. Hope for another 50 years of him cracking jokes.
What an incredible interview and achievement. 👍🏻👍🏻
Way to go, Billy!! You did it! Self care ❤. Thank you for being an example for me today!!
Very inspiring 👏! Congratulations Billy!

God bless him for the courage and perseverance! He’s always been a nice man!
Congratulations to Billy Gardell! I love his tv shows-both old and new!
Thank you for sharing your story - it means a lot to me.
He seems like a really good guy. Nice, heart in the right place. Good interview.
He looks fantastic! He seems so happy!
He looks incredible but more importantly he feels incredible!
Good for him
He has some excellent advice for anyone who wants to be better. You can do this one day at a time. Just today. And look for help. They will come. ❤️
Extremely proud of this man's accomplishments for his health and his work as a professional actor. So great to see good things happen for people who work so hard.
I clicked out of curiosity, got a life lesson.
" when you're strong enough to say " I can't do this on my own ", then the troops come up over the hill "
Started keto two years ago..a great journey..he looks great..with gastric bypass, there comes many commitments..one factor is nutrients that don’t get absorbed due to the rerouting the surgery causes, but, he made the decision and it has changed his outlook on life. So proud.
What are the nutrients that don't get absorbed due to rerouting?
Oh my goodness,he looks incredible, wow, good for him .
I’m happy for him! What an accomplishment
I lost 165lbs with diet and exercise without the surgery. Maintained it for 5 years. You just have to be focused 1 day at a time. What he said the that the surgery is the beginning is so true
charlesreadle2345 - Good for you! ❤️❤️❤️
My jaw literally dropped when I realized who he was and how much he’s changed. Except for that distinctive voice!
He is my inspiration. I’ve lost 70 so far. I don’t want to be type 2. Way to go Billy.❤️🖤❤️
4-29-23 Billy Gardell a top shelf gentleman and actor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It took me a little to realize who he is. Good for him
I'm so happy for you! It finally hit me, it was time to get healthy! My life has changed so much since January, May 4th is my big day! My life began in 2023! Way to go
Good luck!!! I hope to have my surgery in a few months.
I'm over the moon for Billy! He is one of the very best comic actors alive today and it's GREAT that we're not gonna lose him early.
I love this guy as an actor!! I love that he’s trying to stay healthy, but I miss his full face ! He was always handsome to me!!!!
I agree that he was always handsome. He didn't really have a very fat face prior to surgery so the weight loss really shows in his face.
I don't think he looks healthy at all. He looks ill. Reminds me of the actor Dolph sweet from gimmie a break who died from stomach cancer. He should not lose anymore.
I liked Mike and Molly and abosholia too.
Yes he was a nice looking man with his full round face. And tho I’m glad he’s healthier his face looks like a deflated balloon now. Who knew he had such a square chin? I wish he’d lose the mustache.
Good for him. He's one of my favorite actors so I'm glad he'll be around a little longer.
