- Continued from part 1. This video has some great clips of a nestling taking first lessons in flying, almost falling down in one of his attempts to fly! One nestling has already flown away. The parents are doing their best to encourage the second to fly. But the young one is still hesitant to take the plunge! The calls of the three birds too can be clearly heard. Camera: Canon EOS 550D

Good video.A Red Vented Bulbul couple raised 3 chicks for the 4th time in the Veranda of my House,from 16th August this year to the 8th August,ie TODAY,,using the same nest.All the other three times there were only 2 chicks.Today at about 1200 hrs 2 chicks flew away and the 3rd one took about 20 Minutes to fly to the safety of its parents OUTSIDE.The RVBB parents were very protective of the chicks.

How many days to take a baby to fly away?
@@divyakannar6751 it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to hatch from eggs. Once hatch it take another 2 weeks for them to grow with wings. and than they fly away. Once they leave a nest they never go back in nest again even if you hold them and put in the nest. In my house it took them 1 month to grow and fly away.

No. It was not flawn away......it must fell down.....i have a pet red vented bulbul.....it took almost 45 days to fly properly.........the baby you weee shown in the video was not more than 20 days old.......

We have two nestling of this bird. Their parents has not returned since friday. We are worried now.. contacted rrscue centre but not getting promt response.
Do you know what kind of care should we take?
Hi. You can try feeding them some milk (diluted with water) or water with glucose powder added. Best option is to consult your local Veterinary doctor as I am not an expert :)
@@akshaywcam1 Stupid Response. They need bird feed specific to their need. Egg is a good option. Best let their parents take care of them.

Yes, I also wish I could have captured the bird flying. But unfortunately I had some plans which could not be cancelled :( Anyway, I am satisfied with what I got :)
From the state of its feather. Probably 9 days. It's normal for them.

Sorry I'm really not qualified enough to answer that.. Glucose water is the only thing I can think of. You can google for animal rescue organizations/NGOs/veterinary doctor and consult them.. They will be able to help you in better way!
