I started applying the "if that... then this" approach and it's been working for me. It's reduced a lot of mistakes and emotional rollercoasters. Am on my way to consistent profitablity.
The one thing that a trader can control is the amount of loss. Everything else, like the profit level, is out of their control. New traders focus on how much they can make, and years later, it's all about how much to risk.
