We are so appreciative of every single one of you who joined us at last year’s Choir! Choir! Choir! Daffodil event in support of Canadians affected by cancer. Together, we can create a world where no Canadian fears cancer. 💛
Beautiful song, but unfortunately, it is more lucrative to get money from people and say we are hoping to develop a cure for cancer. See the chemotherapy is not a cure. There are actually over 300 cancer cures that are being suppressed. Pharm companies are making billions. Please do your homework.
Tanya Smith, I think that every family that has been through the cancer journey knows what the pharmaceutical companies are doing. As well as all the charities that raise money for cancer families.
@@susanpayne5148 Please do not get me wrong, i lost very close relatives to cancer. However, i have been doing research about what is causing cancer, how it can live inside of a body. Please be aware that cancer is a fungus. It lives in an acidic environment. This is why i am taking the time to explain here the reality about cancer. Yes, many got healed by the actual treatments from the Pharm companies. But unfortunately, this entire thing became highly political. They have been collecting monies for a cure for many decades. Many got rich with this.
I recently played (the original version of) this song to my mum, as she lay dying (it turned out to be her last full day before we lost her). She was completely unresponsive at that stage, I don't know if it registered at all. But I knew she always liked it. Later, while we were making funeral arrangements, my sister suggested (without knowing this) playing it during the service. It was fitting and perfect and beautiful, and I thought I'd never be able to listen to the song in any form ever again. And today, I hear this. I'm crying. I'm bawling, and I just wish I could have played this version to mum too.
Just found this. My father-in-law died of throat cancer (smoker); my father died of multiple myeloma; my daughter died of breast cancer 3 years ago--this one aches so bad. This song lifted me up (her birthday would have been 2 days ago).
Thank you, thank you, thank you, CHOIR! CCHOIR! CHOIR! I lost my Dad to cancer - he absolutely loved The Beatles, he’d have loved this. Still my dream to get over to Canada from South Africa, to Clinton’s Tavern and sing together with a bunch of beautiful, kind, wonderful people 💛🌼🇨🇦🇿🇦
So needed for this Covid survivor. Back in the gym and pedaling away on a stationary bike right now. Please.Lord, take away this devastating virus from our land.
I was there during this, and everyone was really nice. It was a very comfortable place to be in and though it was freezing outside, the people made it seem warm (but the hot chocolate helped)
Wow. Another great performance! One can imagine with those terrible words, “You have cancer”, the world turns grey, devoid of joy. And then CCS (Canadian Cancer Society) brings a little hope, a little colour to their life. How wonderfully and artfully you present this gift of hope to us. Thank you. And let the sun shine in.
It's not even the "you have Cancer" statement but the lab results which is in much more stark wording. I've read one that said "Immediate surgical intervention is recommended. The mass is a very aggressive type of malignant carcinoma." If that isn't a a 4x4 to the face I do not know what is.
RogueViator I totally get that. Those are words that I, thankfully, have not had to deal with. You are so right. What I dealt with was my wife who had a massive left brain stroke at 37. Took her right side and speech language center. My world turned grey that morning. I relive that every day for the 30 plus years I have cared for her. Colour has returned and I try to make each day count and to find the little blessings where I can. And some days have more colour than others. Someone had written earlier that to do this in black and white was cheap and lacked meaning. Doing this vid, with this song, really spoke to me. And the addition of yellow in a song so full of hope on a chilly April day. Just wow! Choir!Choir!Choir! are one of those great gifts that bring colour. And reminds us that to be part of a community which shares such joy is possible and desirable. So proud of them. They may not know it but they are all my good friends I welcome every day. And to be honest I am envious of them and their talent.
This touched me and I teared up, which does not happen often. I play this song quite often on my guitar... Beatles are why I took it up so long ago. My life has been so much better with their timeless contributions to the world
This is beautiful. What's more beautiful is the diversity of people... young, old, kids, races all together for one purpose. It's the proof that music brings people together and heals. Thank God for music and for artists and talented people.
Awesome sauce from l.a california. My little birds get excited when they hear the Choir! I think they feel like there part of something greater a la a flock. It's amazing to see them actually stoked.
my dad died of cancer and this honestly gave me the first smile in 2 years... its a good thing to see people create something beautifull instead of all the bullshit we see around us all the time... thank you guys... pls keep making those gatherings it gives a lot of hope/joy/fun and excitement to everyone involved behind the camera or in front of the screen watching.
It's so peaceful and pleasant to listen to these Choir! songs during this difficult time

The music of the Beatles wrote in lyric, what Bach, Mozart and Beethoven did in song. I think that is the best compliment that can ever be paid to them.
in whats been a lousy week for me...this puts a smile on my face...very moving when sung by so many people in a choir....everyone looks happy...gives me the boost i need...thankyou beatles and those involved with this. best cover ive ever seen.
Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right
Beautiful, this is my favorite song ever, it gives me so much comfort and I love watching you all sing it with so much soul and also professionalism. RIP George Harrison, we miss you.
Motivational Monday Week 7 Here Comes the Sun sung by Choir! Choir! Choir! Here comes the sun. This song has always held a special place in my heart and brought a tear to my eye. As a child, it was one I could sing along with. As I got older, I learned to appreciate the simplicity of the lyrics and the reminder that the sun would come again and all would be alright. After watching this video, I want to grab a bunch of people and do a major sing-a-long in Long Beach. Kind of a huge flash mob caroling session. Definitely something to think about. Meanwhile, just remember.... Here comes the sun. Everything will be alright, Rosie Hendrix
The jonquils in my yard have been coming up for weeks and they'll be open in a few days. How nice to see others holding them in deep winter and singing about the sun. These songs always make me smile; thank you for the warmth.
Thank you for posting this. My mom battled cancer last year, and has thankfully been cancer free since last December. My late grandpa battled it too years ago, and sadly, lost.
I have watched the video again, and to those who made remarks about me and my earlier negative remarks about this video, I offer my sincerest apologies. No offense was intended whatsoever.
just a perfect and very moving gathering for a cause... blessings for those championing for a cure, those in need of a cure, and those caring people who can help to make a positive difference in anothers life..thoughts for peace and hope for all there
Dear CHOIR! CHOIR! CHOIR! Can you guys please dedicate a song in memory of KOBE BRYANT, his daughter GIANNA, and the 7 people who tragically died in that helicopter crash on Sunday January 26, please? Thank You!🕊 Rest In Peace Kobe, Giana, John, Keri, Alyssa, Christina, Sarah, Payton, and Ara! Thanks C!C!C!

You could teach Southern Arizona’s Cancer groups about doing something like this. Looks like a lot more fun than running!
To me, this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I’m certain George would be pleased at this sweet interpretation.
💛

Somewhere on the other side, wherever that is, your mother owns this song...
Dear Tess, Il did the same for my Mum. Her last breath was to the tune of the original Here comes the sun. Later we all sang it during the funeral❤
That’s beautiful… I hope someone is kind enough to play something as lovely as this when I go 😊
Governments are sending billions to a theatric war in Ukraine, which would provide Cancer Care for everyone in their Country, but they can't.
Been there myself. She’s at peace now. Hope you meet again.
Pretty cool! George Harrison ( Who died of cancer) would be so damn proud! As he is the one who finish the song's lyrics and sings it..Great job guys!
In my opinion, George Harrison wasn't given enough credit whilst alive. I understand now that he was the most spiritual of the Beatles. 🌿🙏☮️
Sentiments echoed by the guys who unpacked some of his songs for the Concert for George
I am crying tears of hope overwhelmed with this performance.
You are not the only one. Beautiful!
One of my favorite Beatles songs

an inmortal anthem of the music from the master Harrison

Feels like in the 60's: music + black & white + flower power!

Hoping that the ice is truly melting and the long cold lonely winter is leaving
Wishing everybody a complete recovery and a long healthy, happy life.
As a cancer survivor myself and a Beatle fan of many years, thanks for sharing, so inspiring 👏
My mom is a cancer survivor too. She battled cancer last year, and has been cancer free since last December.
