I wish I had a reason and means to buy machinery. I just like it and in awe of all the engineering and ability equipment provides. I am a retired Vet and my favorite activity is to sit on my lil BX and clear snow for the neighbours (no charge). So I live vicariously through your vids, keep em coming. Thanks.
I’ve worked on all my Deere CTL’s including my current 2020 333G. I also work on my CAT 963. The dealer does nothing except replace warrantied parts or sell me new ones. I have no idea what your comment is supposed to mean.
WHAT ?! 2 videos on one day ! You’re a crazy man Stan ! Thanks for taking us along. Enjoy these show videos. I think some of the factory reps dread seeing you coming lol
RG Letourneau Did the diesel-electric in the 1940s? His equipment had no hydraulics everything was electric motors. Instead of cylinders, they had linear actuators.
I'm a Deere guy though and though. They cost a lot so it's hard to be 100%.When I farmed almost all my equipment was Deere. The best part is their dealer network.I like saying nothing runs like a 🦌. Thanks 😊.
Stan, this is an awesome video. I love heavy equipment or just equipment in general. You are more interesting to watch then TV. I love your humour with respect to 14% larger. I wish we could hang out together I think we have a blast. Cheers! If you're ever in Canada let me know. I live near Arthur Ontario out in the countryside.
Very interesting machines! I'm small beans compared to everyone else. I'm most in need of a skid steer on my Grandpa's orchard. The original trees were planted in 1930, and my family is beginning the first expansion since then. I don't have the equipment to unload a shipment of trees, or to move compost, or to level ground so I can plant grass between the tree rows. I would love a new piece of equipment, but that is not possible right now. Great intro to new machines, though. Thanks!
I'm a JD guy, but got to love their technology pitch. I mean, they are basically adding a variable vane pump that is electronically controlled. Technology that's been in the auto industry for decades in your transmissions and engines. Just hate how they gouge you price wise for additional "old" tech. Just like all the hand controls stuff. How long has that been out? They add a couple buttons and bingo, 10K.
They should make a dozer with the cab like right in behind or right above the blade for greater visibility put the engine in the back and have a camera on a screen in the cab to watch the rippers better stability with the engine weight over the drive drive axle the machine should be small enough to have no def and be real simple not a whole ton of electronics etc that sounds like a pretty good dozer from someone who’s not a engineer
JOY has been offering ' Underground mining scoop trams (low profile loaders) for over 2+ years now that have the drivetrain system that John Deere has on the dozer that you showed at the start of the video...just saying.
Fully electric will not work for plowing, with Diesel you can refuel in 5 to 10 minutes with charging it's hours. Some of those plow days you run 12, 15 hours straight.
Idont like that top hatch on the 335. They are already a pain in the azz when it comes to changing parts already, especially getting to that starter now.
"ground level daily service is in the dna of john deere machines" must be located in the dealer tech assigned to the machine that has to authorize those "modifications". when are they gonna try arguing that changing the oil is gonna effect the emissions and needs to be locked down...
Instead of chopping a few inches off a hood for visibility on a dozer, why not just put motor in rear like so many amazing machines that most people will never get to operate 😢
I really like this channel but please take the time and trouble to look further afield. You will never see a John Deere or any other farm equipment company in an Australian or South African mine. What they are showing you is 2/3 years old "on the shelf" technology The big boys have remote-controlled D11, 360s, etc. One man, ONE man can operate 3/5 machines at once from an air-conditioned room. Please just have a look.
So now John Deere is finally copying how locomotives diesel engine spinning a generator powering the machine. Because you get more Torque/HP out of it be a straight diesel engine.

Hopefully they start allowing farmers to work on their own equipment
I mean Colorado made it law.
Even if they start allowing it they will make it difficult for anyone to work on them. Especially with all the China components.
They've always allowed farmers to work on their own equipment. The thing is, they wouldn't tell the farmers how.
I always find hilarious when someone brings up the right to repair act but doesn't know anything about it at all with the stupid comments they make.

I ran a Deere backhoe and loader. I enjoyed running them. Quiet, comfortable, had good power. A lot better than the Case backhoe I use now.
Cool beans love to hear it
we had a deere excavator but the boom on the arm broke into 2 sections so got rid of it and got a komatsu plus alot cheaper then deere
Thanks again Stanley, for your teachings and sharing your years of experience.
A big Bravo 👏 to you
WHAT ?!

You’re a crazy man Stan !
Thanks for taking us along. Enjoy these show videos. I think some of the factory reps dread seeing you coming lol
Hahah you are probably right
If they're prepared and know their stuff, as they should, they shouldn't have anything to worry about 😉

2 videos in one day???? Hell yeah!!! Love these videos!
Love to hear it 🙌

Thanks Steve! I’ll definitely hit you up if i’m ever in your neck of the woods 👍
Good on CAT for doing the smart thing on Electrical power - keeping the power plant the same but going electric for the drive.

Any chance I could help you demo one of the zero turn mowers you have? Just bought a place with a out 5 acres of lawn to mow?
I think ole Stan is ready to buy.”! I am blown away too!
Pretty cool stuff!!
Bring back pedal controls for buckets, I HATE having bucket controls for a skid steer on the stick.

Thanks Stan! Some nice machines.
Wow awesome content thanks again big fan of your channel boy do I love this stuff brings back memories
Thanks man! Pretty cool this stuff brings back memories for you too. Hope they’re good ones lol
How do they feel about right to repair your own equipment, that's a question they hate to answer.
Did you film at the link belt booth
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
I'll be curious to see how those battery powered loaders handle attachments like grapples and even the snow pushers.
Thanks Stan! Technical information is great. It would behoove them if they provide warranty information too.
Go get um and God Bless!
I could see that 335 being bought and or tested on this channel.
Loved the video ! Thank you !
Stoked to hear it
But are they user repairable..?
If you're smart enough to work on it.
Can't wait for some jailbreak updates.

Weird but interesting concept.
It’s about time Deere added closed center hydraulics to CTL’s. I’ve been asking for that since 2016.
Great video like always Stan!!
Thanks dude 👊
Great video Stan!
Thank you kindly!
I’d love to see if they had any new garden tractor kinda deals

Well sweet 👍
There's nothing like premiering a new skid steer than having some chick in the background adjusting her panty hose. 🤣
John deere excavator is still a Hitachi machine 100%
Fully electric will not work for plowing, with Diesel you can refuel in 5 to 10 minutes with charging it's hours. Some of those plow days you run 12, 15 hours straight.
That’s what I was thinking seems like a dumb tactic for this market
Just strap a Honda generator to the hood and then your always charging. 😂
I’m only one state away and a 40 minute drive
Howdy neighbor 👋
here to help
👌👌
I’m going with Stanley next time just to meet chicks!!!!
I like my Deere excavators
John Deere? I immediately thought of Right to Repair, their shady tactics to stop it and their effed up arguments against it.
Love the videos
Thanks buddy! & for sticking around 👍
Didn't the the recent cat d7e the same? Dozer wise? Talk to my Stan!
Idont like that top hatch on the 335. They are already a pain in the azz when it comes to changing parts already, especially getting to that starter now.
until they embrace right to repair they should be avoided
Gotta throw that electric drive in your sdlg😂
its nice to see simpler equipment being made
Agreed
🥃🇨🇦🤙 do the emojis count on the you tube matrix?
Why not 👍
Stan is the other comparable skid loader a cat or newholland cool new product line
"ground level daily service is in the dna of john deere machines" must be located in the dealer tech assigned to the machine that has to authorize those "modifications". when are they gonna try arguing that changing the oil is gonna effect the emissions and needs to be locked down...
sorry USA just have a look at the new JCB's xxx.
Why arent they green?
They’re construction line is yellow farm is green
Instead of chopping a few inches off a hood for visibility on a dozer, why not just put motor in rear like so many amazing machines that most people will never get to operate 😢
The weight serves the machine better up front in a dozer would be my guess
Come on now, whether you're hydraulic or electric drive you're still DIESEL POWERED! It all comes down to drive efficiency I guess.
Why you so late with your videos?

I’m sorry, but you can paint it like a cat, but it’ll never be a cat! Nothing runs like a deer with a cat on its arse!
If you buy a loader and it isn't a John Deere then you wasted your money.
Comment
g tier machines are made in china. why will no one say that?
Love to see a John dear Telehandler :/
Might be okay now that you can fix their crap without going broke paying dealers.

Good stuff right there 👊
