Kory, you did well with Jilly. I've learned a lot watching you. You've shown that a person must be calm and patient when working with a horse. Jilly won't be there long. She's beautiful.
Great training session Cory 😃 Jilly seems like a gentle soul. She's not looking for any trouble, she just wants to understand 🐴. What an awesome horse. When your finished with her training, she's going to make someone a really nice horse. She also has such a kind eye, plus she's beautiful! Nice job 👍. Love and Blessings to all at HPHS ❤️🙌 Jennifer
Hi again Your patience and consistency Kory are great and the repetition is where the learning is. She's going to be a wonderful heart horse for someone who appreciates her. Hoping she'll get the perfect forever home with lots of TLC. Thx Kory for all your effort.
One of the Mustangs I rescued looks a lot like Mustang Jill. Unfortunately she had been abused and was terrified of people and I never was able to get her to trust me. She was a sorrel with the two stockings in the rear, her front legs were fawn colored on her pasterns. Her rear pasterns were scared badly from rope burns so bad that they were swollen. She had a blond main that was very wavy. I named her Farrah after Farrah Faucet. Her head was very refined. She also had a star, stripe and snip. Mustang Jilly reminded me of Farrah.
Very unworried. Calm seeming nature. Need to not rush the whole saddle thing. Lots of groundwork and de sensitisation. Don't push her forward and lose the ground you have. She sure seems willing and good natured.
When will the animal abuse end in the USA inpaticuler the BIG LICK MUST END NOW and for Tawnny’s benefit I am also a dyslexic so I quite understand what she says about having to use voice text because I use it as well I also use the predictive text mode also to help me to write all of my emails and messages like this one. I live in an area in the South West of England that is very close to, two of the top 3 day event shows in the equestrian world one is held on the Badminton estate and the other is held at the Princess Royals home of Gatcombe Park I live in a town called Bristol and I am also a volunteer with the ridding for the disabled association in Bristol so I am asking my question as someone who has a horse riding background
Andrew animal abuse, sadly, occurs world wide. That said, we in the USA need to take more responsibility in caring for small & large animals. The shelters can not handle them all, breeding mills must be closed & “designer” breeds are a whole different story. It’s almost a yr now that we adopted 2 small dogs from a local shelter, unknown breeding, needed to be adopted together & before bringing home the shelter did the neuter & spay - the female definitely had had a litter at some point. Cost for both $210.00. First shots, microchip done, the spay/neuter, male was body clipped as well, as he was surrendered totally matted. People are spending $2500-5000+ on the designer breeds. I don’t get it. The horse situation is obviously a tougher one. State & federal laws have to be made to stop the shipment of horses across our boarders to Mexico & Canada to be fattened up for the meat market in the UK & Europe. Because we worm & routinely vaccinate horses in the states, if they make it across the borders, they are force fed for 6 months, clear out the drugs & increase butchering weight. Stallions are not separated from mares. Foundered horses are not treated, they go down, they go down. Humanity at some point has to say enough. The same for Big Lick - that should be outlawed PERIOD! You do that abuse to a horse to show off a $2.00 ribbon?! I’m 72 & have not had high heels on since 1969 - when graduated high school! They hurt to damn much! Common sense told me if they hurt that much they are not worth putting on & they would cause more harm than good to my feet, knees & back! I’ve never professed at being a fashion queen, I’m good with jeans & a t-shirt & have been for decades. I’m blessed with a husband who’s fine with that, he knows if I need to I can dress the part, but he’s happy I’m not out getting new outfits with the change of every season too!!

Wild Mustangs should have been left alone!.....So sick that they are in slaughter meat horse auctions!
Every new training video makes me question how he got hired as a trainer.
