Im so glad you and your family got these horses. They are loved and look great. Enjoy your chsnnel and family. You have taught your kids to be gentle with horses. Enjoy.
The little Scout colt is adorable...glad you have his mom as well...she really looks like she was in bad shape and now is improving...I have never seen front legs like hers...great learning experience for these youngsters. Good luck with everything!!!!!
Not a dumb question but horse colors are often debated the older mare is a appaloosa without what they call a blanket her baby "scout" is a black appaloosa with a blanket, the other appaloosa "Colorado" is a bay with a blanket. Then "Missy" is a buckskin but buckskins are really close to a dunn. And the grey mare "Willow" has a black baby and many grey horses are born another color and change as they grow older. I'm sorry for the long reply I hope that helped.
Coming on real good, well done guys. Advice if you want it, horses like strokes and scratches, more natural for them, as many a cowboy recommends. Horses don't like to be patted. Look forward to following your channel. God bless you.
WOW! Love the name of your channel. Like the name Colorado! I live in Colorful Colorado. Your Colorado is very colorful too! P.S. Did you know that sage is a Neuro toxin to horses and most animals including cows, goats and chickens. I didn't know until I bought some hay with sage in it and several of my horses got sick.
I just started watching your videos because of shout-out. Please mention that Alan (Route 66) rescued these horses, and he in no way is responsible for their conditions. just saying 😊 keep up the good work ❤
Good horse handling. One critique...men especially and some women give horses hard pats or slaps. You see this all of the time after a sucessful performance. This is like a punishment to the horse. Horses like to be stroked gently. First son's horse really flinched when she was slapped hard on her chest and didn't enjoy other slaps. I've owned horses, TBs, Arabians for 40 yrs and learned this through experience and observation. Trainer Steve Young from UK really makes this point. Otherwise, I like your training plan.
Love the name Colorado for your filly…she certainly appears as tho she’s got a good mind on her too. Mamie will benefit your hoof trimming knowledge once she lets you…so nice seeing Scout enjoying the attention.
very nice horse she's sensitive to those pats ....she may like a soft touch when shes good...steve young works with hard horses great man

New subscriber here from Sacramento California. What got me to click on your video is that very pretty spotted filly you have there! 🫶🏼🥰 what a beauty
