I used to have a farm for many, many ,years. Has anyone else who knows farms noticed how clean and pristine this place is? Spotless shavings etc? It is not easy people, keeping stalls and paddocks and cows clean. You can tell they work very hard, and are really dedicated. Amazing!!

It’s a dairy cow. The size of their udders and the amount of milk they produce is genetic. It is not a beef cow. Both bovines. Different characteristics.

I agree completely, having lived most of my 70 plus years in a dairying area of Australia. Inhumane, in every way. I wish I could unsee, unhear, unknow some of the things about the dairy industry that I have experienced. We enslave these poor cows, and remove their calves at birth, either killing the males or rearing the females for more breeding. I know my ancestors were ignorant of the facts of animal husbandry, but I carry plenty of guilt about being the granddaughter of a dairy farmer. Thank god, these two were saved by kind people.

It is always very sad to me when I think about the abuse cows go through to provide us with milk. Very sad. I never drink milk or eat cheese because of the sorrow I feel. This story made me so happy to see! They both were winners in this union.
The same can be said for meat, eggs, honey, leather, fur and down to. All industries that engage in animal exploitation need to be boycotted. Fortunately it's easy being vegan, especially nowadays.
