An exceptional and unique specimen of gorgeous blood-red realgar crystals on snow white calcite from this classic USA locality - Getchell Mine, Nevada. The specimen comes from the famous collection of Renato Pagano, Italy with a label, which adds value to the piece. This is a very old specimen. It displays cavernous formation filled with etched white calcite, around which grow rich and saturated blood-red realgar crystals. The crystals are well shaped and lustrous. They show some translucence. The red contrast on the white background is amazing. Some damages and cracks.
