  • In this video, we showcase our innovative setup for live streaming a tennis match using PTZOptics Hive and vMix. Our setup allowed tennis coaches to view, control, and analyze the match footage remotely, providing a seamless and flexible experience.
    Setup Details:
PTZOptics Hive: We connected PTZOptics Move 4K cameras directly to the cloud via Hive, enabling coaches to choose which camera to view and even control the cameras remotely. This feature allowed coaches to zoom in on specific techniques or zoom out to see overall strategies on the court.
vMix: We utilized vMix for live streaming and video recording, leveraging NDI video connections for high-quality, low-latency IP video.
PTZOptics Move 4K Cameras: Equipped with NDI connectivity, these cameras ensured smooth and efficient video transmission over the same network, enhancing our IP video workflow.
This setup provided an all-IP video solution, with all cameras and computers connected to the same network, except for remote computers accessing Hive through the cloud. Watch the video to see how this technology is revolutionizing tennis coaching and live sports streaming!
    Key Features:
Remote Camera Control: Coaches could easily switch between cameras and control PTZ functions to focus on specific aspects of the game.
High-Quality Streaming: With vMix and NDI connectivity, the video quality remained top-notch, ensuring a professional live streaming experience.
Cloud Connectivity: PTZOptics Hive enabled seamless remote access, allowing coaches to manage camera views from anywhere.

Updated Move 4K 20X to new firmware (VX60AS_F51.HI_V0.0.73_24M_20240521) and still do not have AutoFraming, Zoom Modes, Track Now, etc. Is there a guide somewhere to see it on the GUI?

Standard refresh of the web interface doesn't show the update, even log out/in didn't change anything, a hard refresh (Shift+F5) made all new GUI buttons appear!

      Hello!
Open your camera's Web UI and hold the keys CTRL - SHIFT - R
This will hard refresh your page, and the features will appear.
Let me know if that works!

How effective would this work with a faster sport? Example a bowler, fielders and batters running between wickets in a cricket match?

The farther you zoom out the lower the chances are that the subject we will be lost. Tennis is a good test because they go back and forth so much.

@@PTZOptics thanks for the info. Can you please try T20 cricket, particularly (1) batters running between wickets. (2) bowlers run up to bowl? Camera will need to be 20x and/or 30x. Camera position upto 200 ft away.
