Buddy, you made my day. Thank god for taking the time to shoot videos of the buffet, it is always akward to do but you have no idea how much this means to me. I'm a food guy so seeing what foods are available there is awesome!
great video guys, my wife and I are booked for April 6-13, could you tell us if there is a bus transport at the airport or do we have to hire a ride ourselves, Thanks in advance!
I am so happy you enjoyed the video. Come back to my channel in a couple of weeks as we are about to board the Carnival Dream headed for the Bahamas so there will be a new video. There will be more than enough opportunities at the airport to get you there but it is about an hours drive so it will not be cheap but you can just sit back and relax because they all know where to take you. About $80.00 or so.
Yes the spa. At least for us it was so worth the price but I have a bad back and it made me feel like $1 million afterwards. Also we have a rule that when we go to a resort we stay there because it has everything we need. We are in the banking and finance business which involves a lot of stress so relaxation is very important to us. But there are many excursions you can take or just take a cab into playa Del Carmen if you want to look around and maybe shop. We have done that before and really had a good time but did not feel it necessary this time. I know that’s not much help but I know you will have a great time and thank you for your subscription.
Thanks. Going back in 3 weeks. Everything was closed but the Palace last February. I like the videos. It's 20 degrees where I'm at. Can't wait to get back!
Hi, enjoyed both your vids so far, waiting for day 3 and more :) We're going to Palace in about a month, was hoping you can answer some questions... Are the doors keyless or do you need to have a card? How many a-la carte restaurants do you get when you stay for a week? ...While you were there, were many things closed or mostly open? thanks in advance and looking forward to next vid. Cheers
Key card for door. Not sure about a-la cartes, I did feel we could have gotten another reservation if we wanted. Most everything was open. Be careful dealing with individuals selling souvenirs at the booths. They will try to rip you off using peso conversion. Remember: 19 pesos=1 dollar. 😊. Day 3 tomorrow.
@@branham325 Best Day was suppose to be our service but they completely dropped the ball. They did not show up at the airport and we were told we had no reservation for a ride back to the airport so we will be getting a refund and our taxi you paid for. That is something very important to stay on top of
Been to this place 8 times. But now on hold until covid clears up a bit. But looking forward to returning in the future.
Nice video. We have stayed at the Riviera twice. We will be staying at the Colonial in October
One of our favorite resorts, we will be going back.

We stayed at the colonial 3 times, loved it, the bottle on the table is tequila, I drank it every stay ahha, did you like it enough to return?
No I wish it had been tequila but it was some licorice tasting stuff. My wife loved it though.😊
And yes I would return for sure we had a blast!
If we stay at the Tropical, do we have to pay to use the kid's pool in the Colonial?
Oh no not at all you have free access
How did you get from airport to hotel ??
Also the bus you all are in riding in the video is that provided by resort ? Thanks for your help .
Taxi but you can book transportation when you book your room.
Oh and yes the bus is free and provided by the resort.
Was the mini bar/fridge included or was it pay per drink?
Must have been included, they did not charge us.
Was ventura park open when you were there?
Not sure but Xcaret was open
