A quick question regarding durability. A couple of your podcasts have indicated that applying Ceramic Gloss with an applicator on a dry surface gives the most durability. How does applying it with a rotary using the red pad compare? Thanks for an excellent and informative podcast! They're great!
Yvan and Nick, you two are the ultimate detailing combo team. I recently started using DIY products from being a long time Adam’s user. I recently performed the decontamination process on my ceramic coated Cadillac with excellent results. I also applied my first ceramic coating using your 3 year graphene, on my wife’s Expedition and that turned out great. My question to you all, is there a benefit to applying the ceramic gloss to my vehicles if they have been recently ceramic coated?
Great video! Just one question. I plan on following these steps before using Ceramic Gloss. After decontamination: 1) gold standard polish with the wool cutting pads to spot polish areas with deep scratches 2) gold standard polish with the waffle pad for a full body polish 3) wipe off polish residue with rinse less wash 4) at this point I would like to use the jeweling pad with the ceramic gloss - would I follow the same steps as when polishing in terms of dampening the pad and cleaning it between passes?
Question on ceramic gloss application and process. I use your rinseless wash and have used ceramic gloss while drying. I wonder if my towel soaks up and I am wasting ceramic gloss. Would a better process be to wipe off the rinseless and then apply ceramic gloss to a dry surface. I know both can work but I don’t mind the extra work if i wouldnt be ‘wasting’ the ceramic spray. It’s not cheap. Any thoughts?
It’s possible you are over thinking it:) the Rinseless on the surface is actually providing great lubrication in addition to the Ceramic Gloss. Maybe try using less ceramic gloss if you’d like. You could put a couple of sprays on the paint and instead of putting ceramic gloss on the towel as well you could mist some rinseless wash on the towel. That could save you a bit of product.
@@diydetailofficial I have heard many many times that I overthink things. I will keep doing the process that makes it simple and easy. Again - you guys rock!

I want to use it vs going to dr Beasley products but I’m afraid of making a “shiny” mistake. Thanks in advance.

Hey Yvan! I have a question regarding rinseless wash and ceramic gloss. I am trying to incorporate these two into my detailing regimen. I am looking at rinseless wash as a pre soak, pressure washing it off, then using the legacy sponge with rinseless wash in a bucket to clean the car of debris, followed by some ceramic gloss to top it off. If you don't see any visible maring or scratches then I definitely wouldn't use a wool cutting pad. Have you previously done a paint correction? Or did you get it brand new? Just wondering how you have no visible marks? Diy jewling pad or lake country orange with Gold standard should be perfect. Another great polish for your situation is Phoenix EOD Fabulous Finishing Polish. But that would only be if you're looking for a straight up polish for gloss enhancement. Honestly DIY Detail products are so good and above average, I think Yvan kept all the industry secrets for himself and now deployed it here. Joking aside, ceramic gloss is by far one of the best detailing sprays I've ever used. It has everything, added gloss (duh!), makes the paint very slick, is extremely durable for a detail spray, crazy crazy water beading, simple and brainless to use, and is not expensive compared to competitors. What about after a waxing ?
You can if you wish
Honestly DIY Detail products are so good and above average, I think Yvan kept all the industry secrets for himself and now deployed it here. Joking aside, ceramic gloss is by far one of the best detailing sprays I've ever used. It has everything, added gloss (duh!), makes the paint very slick, is extremely durable for a detail spray, crazy crazy water beading, simple and brainless to use, and is not expensive compared to competitors. What sort of black magic did he cook in the lab with this stuff?
Thank you.
Not do you explain what your DIY products are, but also how to apply them. Thnx!
Thank your for taking the time to comment!
