- Patrick James Cummins is an Australian international cricketer who is currently the captain of Australia in Test cricket. He is the vice-captain of the team in limited-overs cricket. He is a fast bowler and hard hitting right-handed batsman. he plays domestically for New South Wales.
Since Johannesburg, 2011, Cummins' story had consisted of a young talent, struggle with injury, hardworker, then making a comeback 6 years after his test debut. Amazing.
Pat Cummings is the type of person that we all aim to be. Humble, a fantastic bowler, a role model for all youngsters, friendly, likable, and all the rest. He is not only a great captain but has changed the image of the Australian men's cricket team. He has taken the ugly out of it and changed its ethos for the better. We Australians are very proud of our Pat and hope that he has a long career free from further injury!
He really deserves everything he has achieved and more. Such a humble guy and he always backs up his teammates. Very few thought he would be good captain but he proved all of them wrong, specially the confidence with which he won the ODI WC.
