    Testosterone does a HELL of a lot more than build women's libido and secure muscle mass. My energy levels have plummeted since I was required to give it up. My mood stability, mental focus and clarity were stronger on it. After 11 years on it, I was told that at my age, it was putting me at risk for cancer and heart disease. Now I hear the tests that determined those "risks" have been reviewed as seriously flawed. My nutritionist wants to help me get back on. God do I want back on. I felt much more alive and could get a lot more done while I was on it. Not to mention I didn't have all this extra visceral fat, that isn't going away despite my nutritional and exercise improvements. I'm 69 now, in basically good health, and I still have a lot of things I want to do. And I'm NOT talking cookie-baking and crocheting booties.

    It is insane how a LOT of doctors don't talk about this in women. I spent my entire 20's going to doctors, complaining of ZORO sex drive and they would say well as you age that happens, or well you are a mom and it's natural... Umm I was 23 and had no sex drive and they said as you get up there in age it decreases!!! I had a different doctor checky levels and said he has never seen testosterone that low in a woman and could see that all the way on 2015 it came back as very very very low and none of those doctors said anything about it or even said it was low. I had that treated but now I am experiencing the same symptoms, low energy, no sex drive, hair falling out, increase facial hair, irregular periods, cracking and low voice, irritability,.. and they put me on birth control to regular my periods but did not even check my hormone levels first... Or address any of the other issues... Just regulating my periods.. ya frustrating to no end

    • @TryRickPayton
      @TryRickPayton 2 года назад

      DIY hormones is very dangerous. You must be tested and given what you need. And it’s not just one hormone. Many hormones effect each other and it is a fine balance. ALWAYS do Bioidentical NOT synthetic hormone replacement. And you MUST go to a doctor who specializes in this. LOok for a BHRT doctor. I can not stress enough not to do this yourself. It can do a lot of damage…even lead to death.

      I cannot answer the safety question. What i can absolutely tell you is: My wife had a complete hysterectomy 1 1/2 years ago. She never had a strong sex drive, even before the hysterectomy. I have been on male TRT for around a year, and I had read online the some test. could benefit females who no longer have their ovaries. She talked to her doctor about test. therapy, and he put her on 62.5 mg of test. cypionate injected once a month. After the first injection, nothing really changed for us, 1 week after the second injection: Holy Smokes!!!!! Her drive for sex was not this strong when she was 18. Things are very good, and very "damp" all the time. She will never admit that anything is different, but her overall attitude is much improved, and she now able to have sex most any time without problems.

      Be careful taking testosterone booster's, allot of times these are pro hormones that act just like hormones but with no doctor to pay attention to your estrogen levels you can end up with all the same side effects as steroids i.e. gynecomastia, acne, loss of erections etc.
      Remember all testosterone converts into estrogen eventually through the natural process of "aromatization"
      The worse thing about these supposed "testosterone booster's" that end up being pro hormones is they shut down your natural testosterone levels. Don't mess with testosterone booster's, theybare either bullshit or pro hormones, either way all bad
