      Vitalism is only one person now which is a shame. You can tell the mixing in this album is absolutely terrible and it's just not the same anymore. Which is sad because I absolutely loved them.

    The guitarrist (Mosca), the drummer (Marvin) and the bassist (Marcelo) have other band called Odeon, is a INSANE awesome band, you should check out
    Morphine and Swipe Up are my favorite tracks

    I love watching your reaction videos because of your knowledge and appreciation for music. I’m a guitarist and have been playing for over 20 years, I like how you give insight on some many aspects of the composition. I watch your videos and Elizabeth’s from The Clairvoyant Voice because I like listening to you both talk. It’s almost like you’re an old friend that just doing a video chat.     Oh my virgin ears. I have never heard this type of music in my life, and yet it reminds me of Mozart's Sonata for 2 Pianos in D major. Back in my college days this was our Adderall! 😂

    in they sequence - pagan pt.2 they do have bass player. they have they group split up in sequence, but still kicking ass.

    I first came across this band a couple years ago and have been telling people about them ever since. Some interesting changes and modulations in all of their songs. Oh and I thought they are from Brazil.

    I would really dig your thoughts on Jon Hopkins - Vessel. Classically trained electronic artist with a focus on texture. Love the juxtapositions and the spaces he creates. Makes the complicated sound simple. Check it out! Much love

    Dude I’ve been asking for Vitalism for months now it feels like!!!!! Shoot you’ve only been around for months but it feels much longer. Heck ya! Keep up the good works! Aloha!!!!!! Now time for pagan Pt.2!!! Lol EDIT: they do have a bass player. He’s sick of course. Maybe because this is a guitar play through but maybe they didn’t have one on their earlier Stuff. A Hoosier listening to an Hawaiian dissect a Brazilian djent band! I love music and how it brings the world together in a way we never thought it would. Thank you for this!!!!

      Yea, I thought about the bass in the mix and came up with the notion that you did. Perhaps because it was a playthrough mix the guitars got a bit more beef in the mix. GOOD EARS DUDE! :)

    omg i adore u. i just found your channel from the knife prty video! i'm a diehard deftones fan. have you considered doing a reaction for a drum and bass song? i don't really listen to drum and bass, but there's these incredible guys called 'Noisia' and i think it could be really interesting. they're really, really skilled with their production. i would recommend 'Shellshock'. idk, bit of a reach but yeah! i'd be curious to see what you think :)

    Absolutely love this track and this EP! As far as the bass goes, in most metal the bass is used more to fill out the mix than to be an audible instrument. The low frequencies just being used to thicken up the guitar tracks and they are usually in unison except an octave down. I believe the did have a bassist for awhile, though.

    I got a solid progressive instrumental track for you, "A Clock Without A Craftsman" by Lee McKinney, he is the guitarist of the metal band Born of Osiris and its a standout track from his solo instrumental album, its a killer track for sure 🤙

    Grebe, I definitely understand that you are inundated with requests to check out this, that and the other band for x-ever genre. I GET IT! But you’re missing awesome stuff that I think you are uniquely able to do blind reviews of that have yet to be done on this channel, songs that have been requested. Not just by me but others as well.

    Gorguts -Obscura
    It’s a short song and I’d love to hear your take on it...
    unExpect - literally any track off of their album “ In a Flesh Aquarium”
    Billy Bragg & Wilco - Literally any track off of Mermaid Avenue Vols. 1-3
    This is just off the top my head, I’ve got thousands of others (as does everyone else here lol). Please give it a consideration.

    Should definitely check out Biffy Clyro, super unique sound. "A Whole Child Ago" has some of the most intricate drums I've ever heard.

    You really need to check out either Battlefield or And Then There Was Silence by Blind Guardian. Its one of the most epic and well orchestrated metal you will ever hear. Silence is around 14 mins long and is an epic about the Trojan War. Battlefield is a bit shorter, but no less grandiose.

    I recommend you the song "A Distant (Dark) Source (Part I, II and III)" from the band "Hypno5e" from Pelagic Records (Label founded by The Ocean). Their Cinematographic Metal is absolutely phenomenal !
