How many teeths does crankset have? Did you feel the small chain ring is too easy pedailing to use on flat roads?
On flats it wasnt too easy but comfortable for cruising.
If you want to put down some speed, then shift to the bigger chain ring

I bought the S frame size which has only 1 accessory mounting point. Just like other MTBs, the seat is not comfortable for long rides. The tires gives good grip, specially in off-roading. The gears shifts smoothly. The hydraulic disc brakes are powerful. The 120 mm suspension fork works very well during bad roads and off-roading. Overall best value for money bike at this price range in terms of performance, quality and components.

Premiere 5, the trek only has a 80mm travel suntour xct fork and 2x8 drive train. The premiere 5 has a 120mm travel suntour xcm HLO fork with a 2x9 drive train

I am 5'10 and while some did advice an L frame I found the M more comfortable overall in terms of control on trails. The bigger the frame the more the wheelbase and lesser the control. but the bigger one is a bit more stable so if your usage is more on road go with L.
Good one except the pedal...😅 Hydraulic suspension means is it need to be air filled or the usual coil based lock out sir...?
Coil based buddy ... as for the pedal, it can easily be changed
It’s coil + hydraulic air is deferent
Trek dual sport 3 or giant roam 2 which is better
Both have different frame geometry ... so would suggest you test ride them.
For me, the Trek suited me better

sir whats your height. I am 5'4 and should i buy medium or small. I really want the medium because of the extra cage mount
im 5,8 and the medium fits fine but the seat is too tall but you could just trim the bottom of it off but if you don't want to id recommend a small

Yes .. had a flat rear tyre ... thats when I realised .. tubeless tyres have a thicker bead

Go 3x9 , it's better for speed on the road, but make sure the smallest sprocket in the back is a 11 teeth
