    He rides harder than 70 of most people, those trails are fork eaters, I love how he wears

    Thankfully, your video popped up on my recommendations. After watching hours upon hours of "experts" talking about cycles, I get someone who is living it rather than talking it. I look forward to catching up on the rest of your content now. I'm going for the Specialized Rockhopper Expert when I can find one in stock. Finally, what a stunning trail and area to cycle. You've got yourself a sub from me.

    Got the 2020 Fuse from my local bike shop in Tokyo. Got it as a spare to use when my full-sus is out of action (like now!) Picked it up for about 500 bucks since it it was a demo but practically new. (also with chromag handlebars and saddle) I'm also about 5`11" but the bike is an M! But actually I'm starting to really enjoy it! You are right, the Recon needs to go, probably a 34 fox would really liven it up! Good riding! Keep it up!

    • @mtbholden8819
      @mtbholden8819  3 года назад

      One of the bolts had already come out, and it usually started loosening up partway through the ride. I was able to find a replacement for like $3. I was running about 17/23 and found that to be pretty good for most trails. Haven't found anything better yet.

    • @mtbholden8819
      @mtbholden8819  3 года назад +1

      Of course. I got a very small scratch on the stanchion which caused the rubber seal to deteriorate very quickly and lose oil. Partially my fault, but more expensive forks are typically made of more durable materials. Also, the smaller stanchions mean more flex at the front end of the bike, which I think makes for sketchier descending. Just my opinion.
