Grade 7 year old black pony mare
11.2 hands and a shapy little thing!
If you want your kid to learn the ins and outs of training a nice one…who will make them work for it, Betty might just be your gal.
She takes having frogs in her feet a bit too literal for the first 2 minutes of her day. Saddle her up, lope her in a few circles and she will hop around in truly THE cutest little buck. She hardly upsets the saddle, but a little buck nonetheless. Send her both ways a few times and she will remember her waistline and exercise don’t coexist well, then she is ready to be a pretty nice little lady.
Betty knows her leads, is a smooth ride in all three gaits, is fantastic outside in the pasture, and truly is a great little pony! She’s been to town to see all the sights and sounds and she took it VERY well. She’s a brave little thing and is easy to ride. She is working on getting softer in the bridle (was previously only ridden in a halter) and guides nicely where you point her.
So the good:
⭐️ she is gentle
⭐️ she is STUNNING
⭐️ she isn’t going to get anyone hurt
⭐️ she has alllll the style to make a ton of money
⭐️ she WANTS to be a good pony
⭐️ she will make your kid ten times the rider they were when they get her finished
⭐️ lead line she is ready for anyone!
The irritating:
💩she doesn’t like her ears touched but we are getting WAY better. I think someone eared her down a few times so she’s really untrusting but getting much much better
💩 she needs to hop around a few minutes before she’s ready to be a civilized member of society, then she is good the rest of the day!
💩 she will irritate you and make you love her all at once
I believe she is only 30 rides away from being a pricy little pony and if the new family is looking for a re-sale project to take and fine tune then sell later, I will help you market her with pictures and videos and whatever else you need when you have her ready!
