- In this video, join me as I explore the totally underrated city of Dresden and find a piece of PNW right in Germany!
I enjoyed touring the gorgeous old town (and new town) of Dresden and finishing my first evening with drinks and a beautiful sunset view.
The second half of the weekend, with a little “help” from a hostel dorm mate, we hiked to a gorgeous rock formed bridge in Saxon Switzerland National Park.
I really enjoyed this weekend and it was my first time in (former) Eastern Germany!
More videos coming soon 😄

My personal highlights in Saxony are Bautzen - the small version of Dresden, but without any war destructions - and Görlitz!!! IMO one of the most beautiful German cities but completely unknown (because it’s in the east), One of the very few cities that wasn’t damaged during WW2. Also it’s in the Lausitz region, the homeland of the Sorben (Sorbians). A Slavic people that has been living in the region for 1000 years and still keeps their traditions alive. They speak a language which is close to Polish and Czech and they’re very attached to the church
Thanks for the tips! Gretchen visited Görlitz and agrees!

I visited the weekend after but unfortunately did not film! I thought it was a nice city - I liked the public park there. :) There was a goth convention there went I went and that was a bit scary lol
Omg my old roommate just went there and loved it - might need to visit on a return trip to germany
Nice sharing 😍❤❤❤
