These movies are gratifying to fans my age who only had these characters on newsprint paper decades ago. I thought I saw someone somewhere online state that she did have some sort of romantic interest in him, and they had even shown a scan of her thinking about those feelings she had for him but apparently she knew she had to let go of those feelings for the sake of the Avengers. Something like that anyway.
