Alexa, Start My Car - Available for Sale

This hand-crafted "Alexa, Start My Car" device will start, stop, lock, unlock, open and close your car (depending on vehicle equipment) with both Alexa and Google Assistant. Simply ask it with a voice command or schedule it via a routine. If your key fob can do it, so can Alexa or Google Assistant. No monthly OnStar or other satellite service fees required!
With the cold winter months upon us, scheduling Alexa or Google Assistant to start your car 10 minutes before you leave for work every workday will make life much more comfortable and convenient! Works great for cooling the car in the hot summer months too!
Need to get something out of the car but don't want to go looking for your keys? Ask Alexa to unlock it for you! Fast and easy! Not sure if you locked your car? No worries! Ask Alexa to lock it for you. You can also add it to your "Goodnight" routine or schedule it to lock at 10pm every night!

Note: After purchase, you will need to send me your spare key fob. I will then solder it's circuit board into this device to be used by Alexa or Google Assistant. WiFi router operating on 2.4 GHz (most newer routers use both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz and will work fine)
Smartphone with access to Google Play Store or Apple Store for downloading app
Spare working key fob (sent to seller after purchase)
Warning: Starting a car in a closed garage is unsafe and may cause serious injury or death. A garage door opener controlled by Alexa or Google Assistant ($40 on Amazon) should be used and added to the vehicle startup routine prior to starting the vehicle. Your existing garage door opener can be upgraded with a smart module, wired inline between your opener switch and the motor. These are available for under $40 on Amazon:

Not exactly. Most key fobs require a double push within 2 seconds. Alexa has a 5 second minimum delay before another command can be carried out.
