    That was a cool jam at the beginning of the vid, and not the air recirculator door either! So glad she's back on the road again.

    The green stuff is dye in your AC system that shows up under a UV light. Those caps were the high and low side caps for the AC service ports. The red is the high side cap and should go on the line you showed the dye coming out of in the video. The other is the low side cap and should be close to the firewall where the AC lines enter the inside of the car. Glad you got it all fixed, still looks good. My 2014 9c1 got totalled out this time last year and I really miss it.

    Those caps that you found go back on the car. They cover up those valves. And that green stuff is dye that they use to check foe leaks.

    9:43 a cap -can- go there but isn’t required. The green substance you are seeing is residual PAG oil from when they charged up your A/C system and is nothing to worry about

      The caps up on your cowling go on your ac lines

  • @TheBrenesjeremy

    Thats is the( hi side) of the ac lines and the green liquid is ac dye for de testing liquid , and thats is telling me it needs a shredder valve and its domping your ac freeon little by little.

    Blend door drum solo. Also, that green stuff on that AC valve is the dye they use to find leaks. Looks like you found one.

      Thanks for the info. I was thinking AC, but the green definitely threw me off and got me thinking coolant.

      @@TheCopCar Have them check the O-rings in that valve before all the refrigerant is lost and the AC stops cooling.

    Ooh I love that feeling of going to the local pick-n-pull! I just picked up an 09 Impala from Copart that had damage to the passenger side front knuckle and half-shaft. Quick trip to the boneyard and $110 in parts got 'er back on the road!!

    Hey the Cop Car, the green stuff coming out is your refrigerant, and it's coming out of your A/C lines and those caps are supposed to go on those caps are supposed to put those on your A/C lines after they recharge your A/C and the Mechanic forgot to put those caps back on. And they need to be put on like as soon as you can. And Don't!!!! through them away.

    • @TheCopCar
      @TheCopCar  3 года назад

      Good to know. I was thinking AC, but wasn't really sure, that green liquid got me thinking coolant. Those do look like AC lines.
