Hey Russell, you will love Shark Bay mate. To be honest we rocked up there with not much knowledge of the area and pretty restricted by wind. Wanted to go wide but could not. In the shallower areas we looked for bombies and drop off's that you could see held fish on the sounder. We ran lures down to about 10 m. All our fishing was south of monkey Mia in pretty close. Don't be afraid to ask the locals they are great, they won't tell you the really good spots but they will point you in the right direction and you can explore from there. I would have liked to launch Denham side but the wind was bad in Jan. Enjoy mate.
Cheers Darren. Yes mate for the first 6 days or so it was pretty windy with SE > 25kn winds, then we had a couple of days that were perfect mate. Didn't stop us from getting a feed but a couple more days to sound some more ground to the north would have been nice. 2 weeks in SB is awesome mate I reckon you will get out a bit. Enjoy! Thanks for watching
Great video we head up every May for the fish comp

Never had that much luck with Estuary cod on Monkey Mia, would love to know the rough area ;)
Head south mate, tuck in close and look for the drop offs 👍
We have got them trolling the channels surprised us
@@wingitmissionfishingoutdoo6647 Quick question - are those just 2m divers?
@@glenwebster6094 from memory mate it was 10 +. It was getting down there
Great Vid Chris, how’d ya like the boardwalk I built with my team out at Skip Jack Point ?
Bloody top job mate! Must of been hard yakka getting all that in? How was the temptation not to chuck a line in every smoko break?
@@wingitmissionfishingoutdoo6647 we did it in 8 days with a base crew of 3 and a couple of different helpers each day. The temptation was real man 🤣
Always love seeing Dolphins.
Great vid, thanks mate. We're driving up there from Perth on Monday with our boat for 2 weeks. Was it really windy or not too bad? Thanks. Darren
