I must say that Graveyard Carz is way, way, way better now that Mark moved to a bigger shop and hired the right team. Cars are actually being worked on and finished, Mark isn't being that much of an ass (now that Daren is gone) and the details of the work being done is more extensive. Kudos to you and your team for turning that show around!!!
Can I just say as much as I love and enjoy what you guys do and your adherance to Mopar , there are other Chrysler products that can only add to your unique and prestige. what about the late 50's and early 60's 300 series with the unique and ground breaking innovation like fibre optics for dash lights as just one thing to show! Along with Plymouth and Dodge- the Hemi has a long history and viewers will only lap it up, not to mention you guys having fun and learning new things along with us.
Show does have potential. It's cool that this shop is in Oregon. I like the history of what happened to the car. I've always wanted to know what kind of life it's had and how it came to an end. They can cut out the flipping drama tho. If I want a soap opera I'd watch daytime tv.
After watching several episodes of this show, you knew it was BS because if Mark (Mr. A-Hole) was truly the boss he would have fired any, in his eyes "slackers" after a couple of days and most of the others would have quit. Mark is correct, he's not PC. What he is, is abusive, cruel, deceitful, disrespectful, uncaring, vindictive, a drama queen... I know that's not all, where's my thesaurus? The only positive thing about Mark is he's knowledgeable about Mopars but he lords it over everyone thus negating any respect from the others that it would give him. He's accused people of fermenting drama in the shop but he's the one who constantly instigated it. Probably the best way to work there is to keep quiet, do the work, learn everything you can, then leave.
Honestly I agree but I would’ve punched Darren in the face he is lazy and ignorant a terrible employee why do you put up with his ignorance for more than a day as a business owner he should’ve been fired on day 2!
If you saw that show, they replaced the entire front cowl as well as 90% of the rest of that car. Yet they claim it is the Cuda they started with. How can they make such a claim if all the sheetmetal was replaced when doing the restoration? How much sheetmetal on a panel can be replaced without compromising the vin stampings on said panel. 10% 20% 50% ??? How can they legally register and insure that car when all the vin stampings appear to be gone?? And if what they did is illegal how does the show survive without law enforcement intervention? And if it is illegal, why do these folks as well as AMD who is a sponsor on this site continue to show magazine articles of changing out these panels with no reference whatsoever to where the vin stampings go to?? I always get confused about this stuff, and I know there are people on here that are real experts at answering these questions?
Potato I posted this in the vid: True Cuda Project From what I see: Roof inner structure / outer rockers with door posts / rear package tray / maybe part of the rear frame rails / torsion bar mounts. They should have sent this car before chopping the front and rear off to the channel Arthur Tussic ( in Lithuania ). . . . . At some point the work done to this " car " becomes more of moving the above parts to another car and less of rebuilding the original. I'd say changing more than 50% of the cars bare body shell in one shot makes it no longer the came car. RE: If 50% of the front shell was replaced and car was a complete driving unit then it was crashed again and the rear 50% was changed, it is still the same car. GYC is the best and most 'entertaining' car show on TV (IMO) - I can't wait until we get the latest series over here in the UK. Yes, Mark has a large ego but that's all part of the fun - and his sarcasm is really, really funny. Keep up the good work GYC!!
I love this show. Yea Mark's a ball breaker but it's funny. The crew breaks Mark's balls right back at him. The guy knows his stuff and he's fun to watch. I too enjoy hearing about the history of the cars they work on. Bringing these cars back to their original state is fascinating to see. It's more than skill and knowledge. This is truly an art. Yes Mark. I said it. Your an artist and very entertaining one. Don't change a thing.
The show has come a long way. A much-improved cast as far as personality and people that actually work! The work is really top-notch and the attention to detail is amazing! This coming from an Alfa Romeo guy! But I do love muscle cars! Great to see Mark bring his daughter into the business as well. Mark is an interesting guy - quite the dancer!
I just wish they hadn't spent so much time on the people!!It was interesting to see the cars being restored since i worked at the Hamtramck plant on Lynch Road. That's where the Road Runner and G.T.X and Super Bee and R/T hard tops were built.I worked there from May 1968 to September 1979.
I love GYC Mark is a Mopar walking encyclopedia and talks about the cars rather then toss parts on them and send them out the door I love Mopars and this show is awesome!
This is the first episode I've watched of the show, thought I'd start at the VERY beginning. My fav quote from the show is from Mark: "Thanks for playing should I or should I not question the knowledge of The Great One." *giggle*
This channel is fantastic, I watched the Cuda Phoenix episode before this one and it is amazing! I've always liked the Barracuda and now I want one, especially the 71, that's my birth year. Great episode!
My first car a 73 duster 318cu 3 speed auto.I love your perfectionist job ethic. My best friend looks very much Mark like he could be Wormans Brother is that good or bad? He even teases his friends similarialy and he knows classic rock like Mark knows Mopar i guess its not bad i would venture to say but not venture too far. My daughter is married to an Airman they live up in Washington State when I go up that way I would love to stop and gawk I know Mark wouldn't call me anything less than a Gawker Haha Thanks for the years of perfect presentations Mr Worman Siree. You guys have came along way over a long rough road like me whoa, anyway Thanks for Showing More on that Cuda!
As a professional bodyman/painter and mechanic, its nice to finally see a reality show that speaks the truth....that you cannot truly restore a car in a week or two. The many other car restoration shows make one believe they can whip them in and out in 1-3 weeks, but when trying to do that, results in tons of mistakes. I remember years ago a show called Pimp my Ride that made people think they could get a full restoration and custom within a week. Well those jobs they did were total crap jobs. I would love to work in this shop...TOP NOTCH SHOP!!
Alright; had to pause(at 'reading glasses, for chihuahuas'), to say I'd have bought the series. Mark's knowledge/affability and, his crew, are wonderful, entertaining, educational viewing. I love the program.
I've been watching this show and when Worman gets wound up I have to turn it off. Some of the stuff he says to the people that work for him is just to damned obnoxious to endure. And him being a know-it-all doesn't help. In newer shows when he starts flapping his jaws about all of the bits of MoPar minutiae in his brain I want to tear my ears off. And I LIKE Mopars!!! Like another poster here said: "fuck sake shut the fuckup and work on the car". I will say this, they do good work but as a "restored" car(s) I'd have to disagree. Worman over restores his Mopars. The engine compartment of the originals was never that nice paint-wise. Same with the paint generally. Mopars were always a little dry back in the day. But they do look good and that is what people want I assume.
I remember watching this show back when it started, and shutting it off about the same time. They never stop talking, and the actual work on the cars is minimal at best.
My Dad went over to Springfield on business so I asked him to go over to the production studio and grab whatever he could for me. They were filming and he did get to see some of the set. He brought me a poster card about the show when he came down to California. I still have it and I put the card on my next project. 1950 Chevy Truck needs a whole bunch of work but nothing like the Graveyard Carz. I did see a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 six pack 4 speed with a very bad frame and body but it was sold to another TV show down in southern California. Back in my College day's I straightened frames on 2 different Dodge Challenger's. A 1970 SE and a 1970 R/T. I always thought it would be neat to combine those two models for production and later I found that they did make them R/T S/E fairly rare optioned cars. A close buddy of mine had a 1970 Plymouth Cuda Lime Green flat black hood and deck with quarter panels. It was a 4 speed car with the 383 Magnum engine and Posi-trac rear end. He sold it cause of the low gears and purchased a square body Chevy Truck. Wonder what the old Cuda would fetch today?
Mark thanks for loading this.. When are we gonna see Graveyard carz in Canada on Velocity??? Why are they not having graveyard carz on Canadian Velocity ??????
The Phantom Cuda and I share birthdays! Thought that was kinda cool. Even though we're 22 years apart, lol. 2/24/1993. Can't believe how far the show has came. Definitely my favorite car show on TV so far
I'm so glad I got to see this first show. So much DRAMA from the beginning. What does making fun of people have to do with restoration cars? WE NEED HOLLEY back doing the trivia questions.
They had to replace most of the body any way, so let someone else do it. What a lot of work it was to save that car. Should have re-bodied it! LOL Seriously, AMD offers the service of doing the metal work on your car if you want. That episode gave AMD some promotion on that service and no doubt they supply a lot of free metal to Mark.
30 ton frame machine, nearly unlimited tv show budget, "grabs a 30 dollar floor jack" to bind the passenger side up while he pulls the driver side down? oh yea that's top quality work there!
I am SOOOO GLAD Daren is not on the show anymore, Mark is totally right he sooo annoying, he was one aspect of the first 4 seasons I did not care for. Thank you Mark for sharing this, it was fun to watch and see how the show has evolved. The current season is the best season of the show yet. You guys do an AWESOME JOB, I hope to see this show last for many many more seasons, I truly enjoy and can't wait to see the next episode each week. Can I get a thumps up for Mark and his crew?
Daren was just as tried of Mark making everyone feel substandard compares to him, always making stupid comments acting like Mr. know-it-all, they got rid of the wrong guy if you ask me Marks a prick, I don't watch anymore. Iron Resurrection much better show more like a real shop with real people.
Rage Wolf , Well that is great news. I share your sentiment... What a loser. Right, wrong, fact or fiction, I have no use for people like him. I turn in the opposite direction when I see them coming. They are infectious and breed destruction... Got my thumb up!
It got renewed and I'm glad and I'm sure 2017 is gonna be even better but I've been watching this show for a while and Mark likes Darren LESS because Darren isn't a yes man like Joe was or even Royal...but he did let Darren and his daughters husband (something Rose) go THEN hired his daughter Alyssa Rose to work for him...lol..and she's a looker...WOW
I've watched a lot more and congratulations on the new Crue... Plus you are trying to be nice and that's a good thing..... I'll keep watching you keep trying
Mark ........ Thanks for letting us watch how it all began. Season 4 of GYC was the best one yet! I just hope someone from DWTS finds Mark Worman entertaining and lets him dance.
Now I know why restoration work is so expensive; we're charged for the huge amount of time they spend goofing around. They may produce stunning cars, but I'd never take my car here.
For the sanity of all involved, I hope the drama highlighted in this pilot is artificial. If not, this shop defines the phrase "Toxic Work Environment". Yeash.
Never been around or seen much of any of this kind of crap. Sure we have individuals and occassionaly drama but this is just exaggerated and dumb. No resemblence to real car repair work.
One of the coolest shows to me, each time I finish the last show I start with episode 1 season 1 again. I became a MOPAR enthousiast. Greetings from the Netherlands
I have a 71 valiant charger 318 4speed and has been sitting on a farm yard for 28 years it's dead it needs shit load off work I need people like this he is a god in my books if I win lotto I'm gona ship my car from Australia to America gday and thanks mark all u other guys want to really appreciate the stuff he does or we want have fa left
Mark....and his crew are by far some of the best rebuilders/restorers I have ever seen. I been working in bodyshops and been in the car business and the turcking industry since 1995 and I have seen a lot of good techs, hacks, and some really talented guys. But this short fingered man is a "ninja rebuilder" in disguised.
Awesome pilot mark im a loyal mopar owner and watch all the time maybe one day i will bring up my(WS23L8A) 68 coronet r/t for resto work mopar or no car
Geeze! All we need is a knockoff show of Coddington's with the snivelling and sookin and backbites just like Dwain and everyone else, LOL Been done before!LOL!!
I think Mark Worman is a comic genius. His treatment of his employees is a parody of the worst possible bosses. Obviously, his employees and co-workers are in on the joke. The exceptional work he does in restoring cars to their Original Equipment condition is remarkable and his knowledge of MoPar vehicles is encyclopedic.
This would have been great exept for 1 major flaw..The main guy is a prick.Full of himself and the way he speaks of and talks about his employees is a cringe worthy award. He has spoilt what could have been a great show.
Dave Smart I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you. Mark is what makes this show interesting to watch due to his extensive knowledge of Mopars. He has such a incredible amount of knowledge in addition to being entertaining. Does he berates his employees & bust chops? Absolutely but that's the nature of the automotive industry specifically in car restoration. I guess the average consumer doesn't understand that because if you do not work in an automotive shop, you wouldn't know that this is the way employees treat each other as well as bosses treat the employees. That's very normal actually. In fact Mark is quite mild-mannered in comparison to shops I've worked in the past.
Mark's a prick and I hope it's all a act because dealing with him in a real shop atmosphere noway. Hell in video alone he called all his employees dumb and cheap, who would work for a arrogant Mr. now it all??? those people deserve the real credit. I'll stay with Foose and Iron Resurrection with them there's something other then Mopar and you don't have the smell of shit while watching.
This is a great show,All of it especially how you have the murderboard and the cars life with the owners and pictures .I think it's awesome how serious you are about your work .
Hmm so Daren got canned, how about the son-in law he wasn't mechanically inclined? This is the 1st i've seen Fernando I'm wondering if he's still working with GYC he would be great on the show. I can put up with the antics cuz the show is very informative. Thumbs up!
This was fun to watch. I agree that Daren was not right for the show. Glad the 'Cuda is almost finished. I can't wait to see it go to it's owner. Thank you Mark for resurrecting these old carz.
The show didn't get canceled. It is back for another season starting this week in November. The shop does excellent work. I would like to see more demonstrations by Mark or his staff on body and paint work, so I can learn about it. I already know a lot of the stuff that Mark talks about and his little factoids regarding Mopars. I bought my first Challenger in 1975 and have owned one continuously since. I wrote many articles through the years for various Mopar club newsletters that I belonged to. I do some resto work at home on my own vehicles. Doing a Lil Red Express truck now. Mark is right about how long it takes to restore and repaint a car. You can't do them in a week, like on Foose's old show. It's impossible.
Does anybody feel like they were watching the Auto restoration version of The Office? The boss is like Michaels crabbier older brother.
There's only two reasons I can see for anyone working there, that is the satisfaction and love working on the cars and a big paycheck (ok, three reasons).

From what I see: Roof inner structure / outer rockers with door posts /

I agree!I wasn't much into Mopar in my younger years but I did find myself hooked on the technical aspects of the show.
Mark is hilarious! Kick ass shop! Kick ass cars! Kick ass show!

Lot's of bad comment's, but I love the show and Mark's attitude!

Right !
Good cars, good workshop, BAD SHOW!, too much drama, so boring, glad they did not air it. Thanks for wasting my time!
And his fat daughter with the fake fingernails needs to stay home and raise her kids instead of hanging around the shop.
This is the first episode I've watched of the show, thought I'd start at the VERY beginning. My fav quote from the show is from Mark: "Thanks for playing should I or should I not question the knowledge of The Great One." *giggle*
Bad ass show!!!! Just found it on Velocity last week. Been waiting for an all out Mopar show! Wish I could get a 70 440 six barrel shaker Cuda!!!
Love some GYC !!! Marks awesome !! 😎 👏
Agreed!!
This channel is fantastic, I watched the Cuda Phoenix episode before this one and it is amazing! I've always liked the Barracuda and now I want one, especially the 71, that's my birth year. Great episode!

They should just give Fernando a show he does most of the work.
Sorry i came to see the cars not listen to Mark telling the world how wonderful he is . Boring

The arrogance runs deep in this one.

Hey GYC. Great show.

I gotta lie, I’m really impressed
If Mark worked with me his nose would no longer look like the hood ornament of a 1950 Pontiac.

Hi, I am new here. I love your program. I really dig Dodge Cars. You are one of the few watchable things on television in my opinion.

+Rage Wolf
totally agree Daren added nothing but annoyance to an otherwise good series
rage wolf
you sound like a bored housewife talking to other bitches about your dope opera
Daren was just as tried of Mark making everyone feel substandard compares to him, always making stupid comments acting like Mr. know-it-all, they got rid of the wrong guy if you ask me Marks a prick, I don't watch anymore. Iron Resurrection much better show more like a real shop with real people.
Rage Wolf , Well that is great news. I share your sentiment... What a loser. Right, wrong, fact or fiction, I have no use for people like him. I turn in the opposite direction when I see them coming. They are infectious and breed destruction... Got my thumb up!
Petterjunior "YUP"
I just hope someone from DWTS finds Mark Worman entertaining and lets him dance.
im sure he can do some ass scrubin splits come up like james brown and hit a few pelvic thrust while moon walkin. what a smouldering stub.
Mark, I don't know if you have ever seen "Cold War Motors" from Canada but they restored a 1960 Plymouth 2 dr. hdtp. and it's a beauty.
Oh it's real season 1 wasn't bad, it's marks incredible ego that gets in the way. Smh
One of the coolest shows to me, each time I finish the last show I start with episode 1 season 1 again. I became a MOPAR enthousiast. Greetings from the Netherlands
One episode was enough for me to say . nope
GRAVEYARD TURDS= DAYS OF OUR LIVES ... just another DOPE OPERA
Thanks Mark! It was great to see this!
Episode 1 time 14:39. Had to stop. Couldn't take any more! Then I read comments....I'm not alone on hating this,
Am I the only one who thinks Mark is reality tv's Michael Scott (The Office)?
I have a 71 valiant charger 318 4speed and has been sitting on a farm yard for 28 years it's dead it needs shit load off work I need people like this he is a god in my books if I win lotto I'm gona ship my car from Australia to America gday and thanks mark all u other guys want to really appreciate the stuff he does or we want have fa left
" I rebuild the worst possible condition cars" proceeds to cry about how bad it is😂
Mark....and his crew are by far some of the best rebuilders/restorers I have ever seen.
I been working in bodyshops and been in the car business and the turcking industry since 1995 and I have seen a lot of good techs, hacks, and some really talented guys.
But this short fingered man is a "ninja rebuilder" in disguised.
Mark's love from cars is Ineffable
I like this show!!! douchism runs rampant through this shop and man do they do nice work!!!!
Great Show. We love these beautiful MOPARs here in Australia. Well done Mate !
What did I stumble into? I thought I was going to watch cars being restored and ended up in an automotive version of Assholes-R-Us...
Amazing how one dude car ruin an awesome show,Why did they use him?
I see why the show was never aired.
It's a act. I don't think you've meet a real dick. Or looked down at one...
Comedy and cars, my type of show..
This is a great show,All of it especially how you have the murderboard and the cars life with the owners and pictures .I think it's awesome how serious you are about your work .
Hawk Schnozz doesn't have much room to throw that many insults around~This was so enjoyable but him
Love this show MOPAR all the y
Gerry Corbat t
Great job
Hmm so Daren got canned, how about the son-in law he wasn't mechanically inclined? This is the 1st i've seen Fernando I'm wondering if he's still working with GYC he would be great on the show. I can put up with the antics cuz the show is very informative. Thumbs up!
I thought Richard Rawlings was bad.... Mark makes him look like an angel lol
But Mark actually works on cars (when he isn't talking about himself). Richard does NO work on cars.
Thirdgen83 yeah but this guy is a complete asshole

You Welcome
This was fun to watch. I agree that Daren was not right for the show. Glad the 'Cuda is almost finished. I can't wait to see it go to it's owner. Thank you Mark for resurrecting these old carz.
I couldn't work one day for that jerk.
Great episode Mark and guys... Never miss one this was a treat. Been up to Eugene a few times and been by the old shop. Keep up the great work.
I wish there were a few thousand more episodes of graveyard cars.
Being bald is not a shortcoming. This main guy is abrasive.
Great show .
I wanted to see the car get fixed, instead I got complex interpersonal relationships, and hosing the floor down with testosterone. Sooo disappointed.
Who cares about your car story
