In this video, I go over some of the key match ups and main talking points for fantasy players. I'll also give you a sneak peak at the squad leading into Round 6 of the World Cup.

Love the videos, cheers fella, made a terrible captain choice on Marcus Smith to drop down to 953 from the 400's, still a great position, just a real shame to get that so wrong.
Mo'unga v Farrell - Really depends on Mo playing full 80, if he does or almost, I expect he gets the better score, Farrell should be within 10 points I reckon.
Barrett v De Allende - I expect Barrett to be the better of the 2 as he scores in so many more ways, feel like De Allende needs a try to get above 30 from review, whereas Barrett is above 30 regardless and a try just sends him to the moon.
Will have a similar struggle myself, will look for opinions on Mo going most of the match to decide.
What are we saying then? Ioane and Barret as the ideal centre pairing?
Think Richie Mo’ plays most of this one personally. Definitely agree with Barrett having that better base. Such a tough week to predict… especially that Ioane and Barrett both probably don’t go huge, just one.
Shame about Marcus smith, he burnt me too!
Team is looking good, I'm on something very similar atm. I have Mo'unga and DDA in mine at the minute (J Barrett in there too). My thinking is that the scoring is so geared towards line breaks and try scoring that Mo'unga provides the highest upside of any 10. However, I am concerned he gets hooked early for McKenzie if NZ have a decent lead so I get the appeal of Farrell. Biggest decision for me this week is which back 3 player to TC...
With teams announced… I’m all on Mark Telea! He’s coming in fresh 😅 nothing is a guarantee but I like the sound of him.
@@uggy with ALB as the 23rd man I think I'm locked into one of the AB wingers. I'm in a really good spot so just balancing whether to go with the safer bet of Jordan or the slightly riskier but big upside pick in Telea 😬

Hey mate great video again, I reckon your selections are spot on. I’d definitely go Ioane and Farrell. I feel like mounga could have a big game here, potentially scoring a try. At the same time reiko is bound to set up one or two, also with an open style of match it really suits him fantasy wise. And then a tight South Africa England game favours Farrell and his ability to score points from the tee. So I reckon it’s just a higher percentage pairing with the Farrell/Ioane selection
Also are you going to triple captain Telea this week ? I’m torn between him or Will Jordan, just thinking if Mark plays 80 minutes or gets pulled early just like Leicester did last week

Same conundrum in my head! Telea gets a bit more involved usually, which is why I’m backing him. I think though Argentina will try and completely cut the NZ outside backs out of this game.
I think SA will make 10+ changes to the starting line up and NZ will make a few too.
South Africa: Moodie, Arendse, Reinach, Van Staden (Playing Hooker, then flank) Fourie (Playing Flank, then Hooker).
New Zealand: Savea, Mckenzie (Triple Captain), Telea, J Barrett, Lienert-Brown.
England: George, Genge, Itoje
Argentina: Gallo, Kremer.
If Etsebeth starts, I'll put him in for sure.

@@uggy Indeed!! And I think that is why Rassie delayed announcing his team again. He didn't want to show NZ that they were resting their players and encourage them to do the same. Genius.

Great video as usual mate. Always find your opinions useful. Montoya could be worth a shout too. Always scores solid and is a workhorse. I'd probably say farrell and barrett is the right call although both mo'unga and De Allende do both seem to be hitting form. I'm torn between kolbe and arendse. Kolbe always has more runs and game involvements but then arendse always has the edge in terms of liklihood for tries 🙈

Ahh tough choice, don’t think it’s worth taking a gamble on someone not in the back 3.
Id go Telea with a triple boost and hope he goes bigger then anyone else.

@@uggy England released and I’ve got a team I’m happy with although if you have some POD players I’d be over the moon. I’ve gone with B.Barrett rather than Mounga as I think he has a higher ceiling, does that seem logical?

What about Libbok or Pollard and both Ioane/Barrett? Otherwise I was more going to the De Allende match up but with B. Barrett. I think if there is an early sub if they win, it will be more Richie.
Always good to see your comments legend. Libbok or Pollard is hard, both could only play 45-50 minutes, which makes it a really hard sell.
Farrell probably guarantee’d the most minutes, I quite like the idea of Barrett and De Allende, should do a solid job.
Really hard to know who Foster will sub on and off - hurts my brain every week 🤣
I like Barrett / De Allende more then Libbok or Pollard / Barrett & Ioane

Thoughts on Taylor at Hooker? Taking all NZ backs is tempting but if Argentinas discipline falls off I could see Taylor crossing the line for 2 or 3 as we’ve seen him do for the Crusaders time and time again. Or do you reckon the point gap between him and Mbonambi will be closer than the NZ backs?
Really tough call this one, I’m thinking the gamble on a nz back and mbonambi will end up better then a different back and Taylor.
Once I see the team lists, I’ll have a much better idea of how the boks will shape up

Uggy need quick thoughts on putting DMAC in at 10, its a big risk but every time he comes on he tears apart the other team and scores big and i have a feeling that he goes big against a tired Argentina, i know he didnt come on against ireland which scares me but i would be very surprised if he didnt come on so they can rest mo'unga or b.barrett and im thinking of doing a similar thing with kwagga smith but still not sure
What did you go with in the end? I would’ve suggested no - just in case they don’t get on the field, but if you’re looking to make up numbers.. it’s a fantastic idea

As much as I’d love to have Mo in as he probably brings the most excitement out of any of the starting 10s, I think the fact Damo is gonna come on at some point (whether it’s early or late is too big a risk for me). I’m pretty sold on Farrell as he’ll likely stay on…
The next big debate for me is to go Ioane, Barrett and Frizell or Ioane/Barrett, Kriel/DDA and Lawes in the back row!
Ardie, Telea, Jordan, Reinach and Kolbe are 100% in my team already it’s just deciding the combo for the rest. Tough ask this week… good luck brother

There’s a lot of talk on Farrell at no.10, even over the full 80, I’m not convinced he will do as much damage as McKenzie in the second 40”. Argentina will be playing on some tired legs by that time…
My centers at the moment are Ioane & De Allende. Outside backs are Kolbe, Jordan & Telea(3xC) and Reinach at 9.
Good point on Mckenzie but man it would take some balls to pick a sub in your team.
Big balls plays 🔥 McKenzie could definitely come on and tear them to shreds. After a 6 day turn around, surely he gets good minutes off the bench

I’ve thought about it a bit more, Montoya hooker isn’t terrible at all. Argentina turn up he probably has a cracking game, if they’re getting sweeped, he still may cross for a maul try as they look to make up points.
Lawes instead of Isa is more risky but could pay off. Isa definitely averages more, but Lawes could play the house down given it’s a semi

I’ve been cocky sat at 1200 in the world but I’ve found someone better! How comes you’re so sure of deallande over kriel? Kriel is cheaper and bookies give him better try scoring odds. Perhaps George Martin second row? Big physical lock likely to get stuck in vs SA. Finally how comes arundse over kolbe? Bookies prefer arundse to score but kolbe always gets amongst it. Great vid, hoping to overtake!

Simply like the sound of De Allende more because when fantasy super rugby was a thing all those years ago, he would consistently score much higher then Kriel. Realistically though, both don’t score that high this week.
Love the George Martin shout, could be an awesome point of difference this week, no harm rolling the dice on him 👍

Hey brother, I'm currently with Farrell at 10, but not really feeling it. I'm thinking of Willemse playing at 15 (although the boks have Le Roux on the bench) or Beauden/Richie who will probably going to have a massive game against the pumas (the thing is I would have to let go of Jordie or Rieko do to so, and bringing probably Kriel). What would you do @uggy? Btw I think I'm going to stick with González over Isa.. One last time 😂

I’ve just brought in Jordie for De Allende, the springboks averages in the centres just makes me really sceptical.
Came at the expense of Codie Taylor 😅 not sure if it’s a good decision
@@uggy i really think that both nz centers will pierce through the argentinian defensive line like there´s no tomorrow (maybe more than the wingers..), so even with Codie guaranteeing one try, a few turnovers and some scrums, it should be worth it brother. last thing, kremer or martin?

Yeah Smith’s a lot more tempting now, Christie might not even get on the field. Might just go with Reinach because the NZ backs I can see scoring a lot more then the difference between Smith / Reinach - if that makes sense?

Farrel does seem like a sensible option, assuming the bocks aren't able to bully England out of the game but D-Mack is calling to me. If he comes on early he could pull silly numbers. Also are you sold on Barrett and Ioane as centres, you don't think thats too many eggs in one basket?
Yeah definitely too many eggs in one basket! At the moment I’m on Mo’unga, Barret, De Allende.. even then though I’m not entirely convinced. Agree McKenzie could come on and get a cricket score, I just don’t trust foster 💀

Wouldn’t mounga be more likely to come off? I have Jordie over ioane as he’s more likely to pick up kicking points (paired with kriel after the monster lines he had).
I don’t think the England team hasn’t been named yet but if they go with a Ford-Farrell 10-12 would it be worth taking Ford with the super kicker?
I just have a feeling McKenzie goes to fullback to give Beauden a spell. Can’t be easy with the short turn around and an older body. Who knows tho !
And true Marchant can be suspect in defence too. You could probably throw that super kicker on Farrell given their lineup 👍🔥

Split between mbonambi and George I’m hopping Kriel and arendse make up some points difference as they have lower selection %
Cane played well last week, seems to have settled into the role now. He should get most of the game and if he can rack 30 points against Ireland he should score well again this week.

Cheslin usually is more involved, where Arendse tends to score more tries.
Good picks again! I'm very similar. I think you should stick with Farrell at 10 and ioane at 13, rather than De Allende and mo'unga. Ioane has been too good to leave out, and I think the free-flowing game should work perfectly for him. Farrell is consistent and guarantees points, as well as probably playing the 80.
Currently I have Dmac in at 10. I think they could start him at 15, and move him to 10, allowing for Barrett and Mo'unga to both get game time, whilst still staying fresh for the final. Will have to wait for team sheet!
I have Jordan, Telea (TC), Ioane, Dmac, and Savea. Reinach, Kolbe, and Am complete the backline. (Ive just put Am in there in hopes he plays, but have plenty budget for de allende lol)
What are your thoughts on Montoya? I can see him doing well and playing most of the 80.

Farrell has been awesome - I’m worried he might get too into the push and shove. Excellent point on Ioane, it probably favours him more so then Jordie as well.
It’s going to be a tough turn around for the All Blacks given it’s pretty much the same team from last week!
Love the Am shout, awesome point of difference if he’s named.
Montoya will always be solid. All Blacks hardest team to score a maul try on, so it’s a bit of a gamble, but you never know… they’ll be tired. Personally think the other three hookers all have a better chance of scoring for this week.
@@uggy yeah that's a fair shout not going for Montoya, I think I'm still annoyed with George after picking him over Mauvaka last week 😂
Looking at the Italy match where Dmac has come off the bench, Barrett got 30 points, and Mo'unga got 42 (18 of which were conversions), and Mckenzie got 69. I might take the gamble, considering the energy he brings when he comes on. Only concern is if the game is close, he may not be taken on until last 5 mins. Thoughts?

Why arendse over Kolbe?
Good question, more of a hunch then anything else. Can just see Arendse crossing the line more 👍 I’ll probably wait for team announcements and see who has the better match-up on paper
Felt both Ireland and France were the better teams, but somehow it wasn't to be. This comp has become very frustrating with differentials not performing and everyone having the same teams.
Better team doesn’t mean anything if you can’t replicate it when it matters.
Yeah feel your frustrations. Would of loved to see a more comprehensive scoring system. Fantasy six nations has more ways to lose points and more ways to gain points and it really makes for an exciting comp.
