I have both, that foam gun, and a pressure washer cannon. I use the pressure washer more mostly because it uses much less water.

Same! I use my pressure washer setup 99% of the time.

Good thoughts and wash. Another option is having a foam sprayer (battery or something like an IK). I have 5 or6 half gallon garden sprayers I pre-mix different chemicals in as well. The foam is very light, but the goal for these isn't foam for me. I foam with my pressure washer. I also like using rinseless wash. For me, I'd probably pre-rinse or go straight into foaming, rinse, then do my contact wash with rinseless. Everyone has their own process and preferences, though!

Just 1 suggestion, windshields pick up a lot of bugs and debris, i wouldnt recommend taking a MF-Mitt and washing the windshield with one side and using the same side on the paint matched side mirror. Usually i start with the roof, then with that same side i did the roof i do the windshield, then top of tunk(painted panel) then trunk windshield etc

Also, every door panel you do, i would start from the top and work my way down, flip over the mit, then next panel... reason being the most dirty part of the car... is the bottom, wheels & tires, and the front of the car... if you pick up those contaminants and go straight to the next panel you're just spreading and possibly marring/scratching your paint

Exactly! I usually do top to bottom. My car isn’t really dirty most of the time anyways for it to really matter.

@@WheelswithMarty oh my bad! Did you ever feel like graphene and ceramic coating is a gimmick? A detailer here said that it's over rated

@@matty808pyro8 I don’t have much experience with Graphene, but ceramic is amazing stuff! I love it!

Hey! I am wanting to get into car washing (primarily with my own car first) do you think it's worth getting a foam gun first rather than a pressure washer and foam cannon setup? Or should I just save up for a little longer and get a proper pressure washer and foam cannon setup? Thanks!

It’s really up to you. This is a great option with a garden hose so you don’t break the bank. You’ll need to make sure your water isn’t hard either or you won’t have foam. Alot of variables there but this along with a garden hose is a great starter option.

I really recommend getting the cheapest must bang for your buck pressure washer... the ryobi, then get yourself a $20 foam gun, and spend a bit extra $5 for a white tipped nozzle for the ryobi... that white tip will have an angled fan. And it will put out psi's that is rated at what the box says
