They lost the right flank and the center, the decisive factors were not the huge slow army with elephants and outdated technology, but the uncontested horse archers and the breakthrough in the centre. @Srt t My betrayal? Can you elaborate on what's this about?
I was merely responding to the main comment "... and outdated technology." with my own opinion: Rama Raya's army tech there is not really 'outdated' as he may think. This discussion is based on what's described in the video at the 12:15 timestamp, so it isn't fake. I'm saying this basically defending 'reputation' of tech used by Rama Raya's army.
The 'betrayal' already described in the video at 5:58 (now, who's the fake one?), listen and pay attention to the content first.
Before the alliance turns against him, "Rama Raya responded by horrible violence upon locals, destroying mosques, ravaging countryside. This shocked ruler of Golconda who backed out of alliance (...) Bijapur ruler equally alarmed but remained loyal due to political (...) Rama Raya become a problematic ally (...) While retreating through Bijapur, his army (Rama Raya) plundered and ravaged lands of his own ally, even annexing some of territory."
If you disagree with the video, it's best to create a new topic-comment rather than disrupting the others.
At this point, can you elaborate on what's a 'betrayal' really is?
If you disagree with the video, it's best to create a new topic-comment so you can give feedback to the creator with your legitimate source-driven facts (if you can find any), rather than disrupting the others for nothing good.

Did you know the Mecca stadium has a hidden-in-plain-sight Star of Ishtar if you connect the pillars around the kaaba to that cube?
The Star of Ishtar alludes to the Tower of Babel when mankind was united in a project of rebellion against God, trying to conquer heaven.

Many people don't know that Vijayanagara Empire was the Richest Kingdom of its times not just in Asia but the whole world, As mentioned by accounts of Portuguese traders. Merchants used to sell Diamonds, Peals and Precious Stones in Heaps on the Street side and People lived Prosperously and not a single Thief or Beggar was to be found.
India remained the only known source of Diamonds in the world back then till British discovered them in Africa and Americas in Late 1800s.

It was almost certainly the brutal actions towards muslim civilians, even in his own ally's lands, that led to the realization of the hindu threat.
rama raya's greatest mistake was letting his neighbors know how much he hated their religion through his acts of wonton destruction towards mosques and muslim civilians.
If he had been a more just ruler towards other religions, or at least pretended to be for a while, he probably could have absorbed all the nearby sultanates piecemeal.

If they didn't try to destroy Islam the way they did I bet they could have reached the power of the mughals.
What made empires like the mughal empire and the maurya empire so powerful in india was the allowance of other faiths to be relatively unmolested and the brits also used this strategy to take over india.
Its always a mistake to start torching places of worship because it only leads to failure.
Despite some indians insisting the mughals did abuse, we know from history that the mughals became powerful by leaving the hindus as a majority rather than committing genocide.

The Battle of Talikota (1565 AD) is one of the largest Muslim battles in India, which led to the death of hundreds of thousands of Hindus and the destruction of the Hindu Vijaynagar Empire in the far south of India.
The Muslim army was led by an alliance of the Sultans of Bijapur, Ahmednagar, Golkonda Bidar and Berar

best moment of battle when the Muslims gathered their strength and 140,000 horsemen attacked the Hindu elephants and artillery, causing Ramaraja to fall with his elephant to the ground in the middle of the Muslim soldiers to cut off his head from his unclean body.
The Hindu army collapsed under the swords and cannons of the Muslim soldiers, who began to harvest their heads until 100,000 of them were killed in the field and hundreds of thousands of them during retreat & then destroyed their cities and captial killing coutless number of them & looting so many spoils & the spoils obtained by the Muslims were so great that they spent 6 months collecting them.

Lot of blame on gilani brothers treachery but the fact that they played a minor role when there were other major factor which were leading this great empire towards self harm even without gilani brother treachery.
The Gilani brothers, also known as the Barid Shahi brothers, were military commanders in the service of the Bijapur Sultanate, which was one of the Deccan Sultanates that allied against the Vijayanagara Empire in the Battle of Talikota. The actions of the Gilani brothers did play a role in contributing to the defeat of the Vijayanagara Empire, but it was not the sole or primary reason for the empire’s fall at Talikota.
The Gilani brothers, who were originally employed by the Vijayanagara Empire, switched sides and joined the Deccan Sultanates, providing valuable intelligence and military expertise to their new allies. Their betrayal and defection to the enemy camp likely had an impact on the outcome of the battle by weakening the Vijayanagara forces and strengthening the Deccan Sultanates' position.
However, it is important to note that the Battle of Talikota was a complex and multi-faceted conflict, with various factors contributing to the Vijayanagara Empire’s defeat. The surprise attack, superior numbers and organization of the Deccan Sultanates, internal divisions within the Vijayanagara Empire, and other strategic considerations all played a role in the outcome of the battle.
While the treachery of the Gilani brothers may have been a contributing factor, it was part of a larger set of circumstances and events that led to the fall of the Vijayanagara Empire at the Battle of Talikota in 1565.

Great analysis. However, it was not as simplistic as a Hindu vs Muslim struggle. Hindus served on the Sultanate side while Muslims served on the Vijayanagara side. Infact, the leading generals of Nizamshah's and Adilshah's army were Hindu Maratha's. Ramaraya himself began his career in the service of Qutubshah of Golkonda, ultimately switching side and climbing up the ladder in the Vijayanagara hierarchy. Ultimately it was all about profit and political convenience. For those interested in further reading, I would suggest reading Richard Eaton's 'Social History of Deccan, 1300-1761'.

@@yashvardhanojha6796 You didn't even watch the whole video. This video is more unbiased than me. If you watch the video ,you will learn that -Firstly,the Muslims who switched sides during the battle were placed on the left flank(They were not present in the centre,as the WhatsApp University would teach you.😂😂)Secondly, they switched sides after the Sultanate armies started raining arrows on the left. They switched sides when the entire left flank was routing and were being massacred on the run. So this switching of sides didn't alter the course of the battle.Even if they didn't switch sides, the left flank was already being annihilated. The outcome of the battle was unaffected by the event.
It's better to realise your own mistakes instead of blaming Muslims .lol😂😂😂
