One interesting thing I've thought of is that many ground sloth species are capable of bipedal walking. Thalassocnus being an aquatic species we dont know the fur color of may have looked a LOT like godzilla. I saw an art piece depicting it and it made me think. Godzilla is one the thing from fiction that will be even more powerful in real life than he was in the movie, Godzilla faint growl alone will make human organ collapse and capable of causing blindness just by seeing his atomic breath alone
it really depends... The power of the animal's roar is probably dependent on the amount of air it can exhale at once. And Godzilla is not a creature that supports itself by breathing. In Shin Godzilla it was more of a nuclear powered behemoth. And I would imagine its lungs just being a degenerated organ. Which is why its roar could be more quiet. It still could have been very loud though, cause Godzilla is huge.

True real life Gojira sounds: low booming noises that sound kind of whale-like but way deeper and loud enough to destroy your ears. Also turn the speed to 0.25. The roars are extra terrifying.
