  • I noticed I was starting to feel a little burnt out in my creative practice so I took myself on a little trip to unwind. Followed by a few days in the studio of creating for the sake of experimentation and fun! A much needed artist reset❤️

God, I love your house and that of your grandparents and the interior. That's how I always imagine the cozy, cottage core English countryside

Oh, that's totally so amazing and I think so good feeling in no words! ❣️
Always, your art video is very gorgeous atmosphere and your action poses are all beautiful in this video. Of course your artwork too very good. I'm getting inspiration from lovely you! ✨️💕😍

I believe the most beautiful colours are created by light, and it's artists like yourself who discover those moments. I can see such elements in the paintings you're selling. I'm also looking forward to more of your brilliant artworks. Flying scenes in the sky would suit your style nicely as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the soothing video featuring you and your dog. That pup seems to enjoy disrupting your yoga practice, doesn't it? Ha!

Oh, I nearly forgot - from my perspective, the painting 'Cosy kitchen window 5"x7" oil on panel 2023' was the most appealing. I think you've brilliantly captured the light and colours reflecting off the objects. It would be splendid to see that same quality expressed in the skin tones of your portrait work. I haven't purchased any of your paintings yet, but I wanted to offer this feedback as an appreciation of your art. Do have a lovely day.

Your video really touched me. When I saw your grandparents walking in the field, I started crying, because they reminded me of my grandma who died a few years ago, and I still miss her so much. I miss having a safe home where I can come and feel welcome, I have never had that. And then seeing their dog made me cry again, what a lovely soul. Thank you for the video. I love your work.

Thanks for sharing such a lovely vlog and sharing more about your process. It was really calming and included some beautiful shots. It's amazing to watch your paintings/drawings come to life - really impressive! If you're happy to share, would love to hear more about how you became a self-taught artist and the process behind that (for example whether you learnt through trial and error or learnt specific techniques, etc. 💙

Thank you, I’m glad your enjoyed the video❤️ yes that would be a good topic to talk about. Definitely more trial and error but I’ve also collected information from all over the place so it might take me a little while to work out how to condense that process!

I love seeing the super old houses in vlogs from Europe. Here in Canada we don't have a ton of buildings built that long ago. Like from the mid-late 1800s is uncommon, and about as early as it goes. To see earlier you'd have to visit a historical city like Quebec city. I think I would be in heaven in the countryside in your video.

Been a while since I commented...It can definitely happen - perhaps not a true "burn-out" but something like it. Just step away from the creative process for a while and the creativeness will return with a force many times more powerful. If you are a creative soul, it will never leave you. I am sure you already know that.
Your "lack of trusting your driving/finding the way-ability" - I just had to smile...🙂 You got there...that's the important thing 🙂The landscape at your grandparents - looks so good and inviting to paint something.
The return to the studio - what a difference even a day makes. Both your drawing and the painting of the two are just wonderful - amazing likeness - just spot on. Another great video.

Hi Izzy, who is this guy? (6:42) ? I'm glad he (and your grandparents) are taking good care of you. BTW, I love your grandparents' beautiful house & yard! 😊

Painting and being take a lot of effort and then filming and editing RUclips videos on top of that is a LOT of work.
You probably need more than a day or even week and forget about filming for us.
Breathe. We'll still be here when you're ready.
