Not an investor, but I think the rule is to not buy high. Very good list except for the Justifier. This will probably be a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal next year for $100 or less. Great buy at that point due to the fantastic minifigs.
Exactly! Since the last price bump I’ve decided one must be patient, perhaps some sets that are your favorites but the rest can wait. Justifyer will end up for $110 next year!
To be honest, star wars fans keep bashing the landspeeder but lego keeps remaking it for a reason, it sells. No drastic increase but every retires landspeeder has appreciated so if you find it on heavy discount, it's hard to leave them behind.
Falcon is out since 2017. I had mine in the first five minutes like a lot of people since it was sold out in about ten minutes. It's true that it was sold out untill 2018 though.
So Question, if folks aren't buying the Justifier due to price wouldn't you want to buy it and set on it. There will be no one that owns it. Depending on Omga and Bane figure will release in cheaper set may go thru the roof 5,6,7 years later. Especially when I picked mine up for 110 u.s.
As an investor who pokered high back then with buying all the rebels stuff that no one wanted: this is true. Always buy the stuff people dont want. They WILL buy it after its gone... And no one has it. Rebels sets run like fresh bread nowadays. And im 100% sure the justifier and that weird Obi vs vader thing will both do well after retirement
I appreciate your vids and efforts BUT regarding the UCS Millenium Falcon you are completely wrong. It is pretty expensive, and its not affordable for everyone... so relative said the Falcon is not as often purchased like any Brick Head. Long term it will rise in value extrem. You will see....and by god, some day it will retire and it will make history in rising up in value
To be honest, while the UCS Millennium Falcon set was groundbreaking for being the largest LEGO set ever made for a while, I wouldn’t consider it to be a great investment, especially due to the minifigures. There’s nothing special about them other than the exclusive face prints for Episode 5 Han Solo and Leia, and while they go for more money than the average minifigure on Bricklink, they’re not as valuable as other Star Wars minifigures from retired sets. You can invest on any set you want, just consider the set you are investing in before you do it.

Yes the landspeeder is probably not one of the best investments, but it one of the best UCS builds.
Plus it has a pretty exclusive c3po
Right, unlike vast majority of vehicles / ships associated with Star Wars, this one of the icons. Must have for fan.

Well, can't argue with a thing you said. And that's pretty cool.

But if I don’t buy Luke’s landspeeder then can I truly call myself a farmboy Luke army builder?
Well the cad bane was in the justifier set is worth 40$ on bricklink so
So like is the star destroyer gonna get restocked one last time or not anymore
I love the justifier set and did get it for like 120 on ebay
Do you think it retires this year or is that not true? I’ve heard of retires this year.
I'll invest in these sets just to piss you off
It’s your money
Disagree on the Justifier and Landspeeder
