En realidad en Mèxico circulà toda una serie de falsos Los Angeles Negros. Cierto es que partido (por culpa suya) Germani de la Fuente, desaparecieron Los Angeles Negros. Germain no fue màs Germain y Los Angeles Negros no fueron màs Los Angeles Negros. Culpable de la destrucciòn del grupo fue Germain.
A si es, yo como mexicano aplaudo qué talentos como estos lleguen a mexico a deleitarnos con su buena musica, tambien otro de mis grupos favoritos los terrícolas aunque ellos son de otro país...

Ray, if you read this lines, my grandad (Andres Aguilar) passed away 5 years ago. He always remembered you as a true and great friend.

Being a child of a Spanish mother & white father we didn't grow up speaking Spanish. This song was one of my mom's favorite. I never understood it but loved the sound of the music & the mellow voice. lol I fell in love with a song I didn't understand. Of course now I speak Spanish & is still one of my faves ❤

De hecho, existe una película de la época del cine de de oro mexicano llamada "Angelitos negros", de los años 40's o 50's; deberías buscarla en youtube.
Nuestra icónica Virgencita de Guadalupe es nuestra VIRGEN MORENA, pues es nuestro tono de piel.
Incluso en algunas canciones puedes escuchar que, de manera cariñosa, decimos "morena", "morenita", "prietita", y en ninguno de ellos son con intención de ofender hija, incluso podemos decir "MI NEGRO" y aún así no es para ofender sino como una expresión y nada más.
Teníamos una cantante folklorica con el nombre artístico "La prieta Linda", una de las canciones flokloricas más representativas de nuestro país, en especial de la Ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco es "EL SON DE LA NEGRA", tiene un coro en sus letras que dice

Uno de los mejores grupos chilenos sino el mejor, en la historia de la música. lamentablemente, no reconocido (como muchos otros) en el propio país de origen. Los Angeles Negros es uno de los grupos más influyentes que ha existido en un innumerable cantidad de grupos latinoamericanos y son reconocidos a nivel internacional. Menos en su país.
