Been watching drumlines in WGI for 20 years and this is probably the greatest high school percussion ensemble I’ve ever heard or seen. What a phenomenal year for them!!!
The center snare's "pout" for a drum face is probably one of the greatest things I have ever seen. It so defined. I mean, just look at those lips and that chin as he plays lmao
Alex Xu The high school happens to have the phenomenal instruction of John Mapes and Ian Grom as well as outstanding students that can apply the information that Mapes and Grom can give them proficiently.
UltraPercussion not to mention most of these kids start being involved with the activity in middle school through their middle school ensemble, Townsend Jr. High.
iPandaFace it was just the way they designed the show that year . Usually chino hills has 5 snares and 3-4 quads and 5 basses . But because of the show design at the near end of their show the drumline grows to 7 snares 5 quads and like 7 basses I believe
William Myslajek I know they put a lot of effort. I have very very high respect for them. They inspire me to get better and better at percussion every day. Please don't get me wrong. I wish our school got more funding so that we can participate in WGi

Leave it to a California group to groove that hard to Stick Control...............

These guys are already drum corp ready.
DB Reactions 2x could be that’s why the west coast has been dominating DCI lately.
@@TheBandMan its cause there's more talent in the west coast
@@mac_n_cheesie That’s… What he just said…
It makes me hard to play the snare after this after seeing these guys that are so damn good
4:55 it's like a shot out of a movie 😂

Money man. Money.
I want to give this organization money
@@brandonpryormusic money has nothing to do with their work ethic
So good to meet you in Dayton, we are big fans- Englewood High School
Girl's the best Technique of snare drum.Very clean!
4:14 Might be the most impressive thing I've seen from a high school
TWO SHOTS

Talk about clarity. Also thank you for good quality both audio and video
Killua Zoldyck Quality over quantity any day! I do it for the viewers :)
Cleaner than most open class independent groups and even a few world class!

Will somebody PLEASE acknowledge the c l e a n splits from the fricken bass line at 2:26? All super casual of course
Joe in the Zone - Fantastic!!
Wow! This is a high school line?!? Amazing!
Still wondering what they are nodding their heads to?
Nice to have some more competition for lot videos ;)
no competition. Only collaboration
ThatWasSexy Absolutely. I’m just giving Connor a hard time.

Can anyone post a link to the sheet music for that cadence @1.46 please.
5:07 caught that cymbals😂
What heads are the snares using?
What grade is Joe in now?
Does their center snare march anywhere?

Stop being good right now
I cant play the freakin groove in stick control!
I guess gibby wasnt thinking about indoor this year.
he graduated and marched pulse
And bluecoats for outdoor
Midnight_H4vic his name is Zach
What is this? A high school version of scv???
More like a Hugh school version of pulse
The two left hand rimshots made me N U T T
Lips dude has to stop it...
What's the warmup at 1:14?
rackfocus I believe SCV Stick Control.
Omg I see myself😂🤙🏻
4:17 left snare
Very impressive. Though, y'all look like you about to use your hero power and heal for 2.
Never really liked when line's tilt their snares, it's dumb. Just stretch more. They won't put up with that on the Devils
I'm prettty sure that all of these guys would go on to march scv
Nah they probably would do more WGI than drum corps
Nah. Since they start in 7th grade, most of these kids get burned out by their senior year. Maybe 1 or 2 a year go on to do Independent groups or DCI.
good😁👍
If the Alliance had a marching band.
*_”warmup”_*
If only my school got enough funding.
These kids put in a lot of work don't call it money

I understand now...my school doesn't do it either but we might start next year so best of luck to you
William Myslajek thank you and good luck to you as well
Sounds like Paul Rennick writing
OMG is that Shawn Mendes?
How are these guys all so attractive
GOLBY it’s Cali most guys are either attractive or super duper gay
I thought I commented this for a second
FBI's watching you these are high schoolers👀
And what's up with all the weird face expressions and head bobbing? Just be normal... it's tacky
What harnesses do they use?
