I use a microscope after final file say a 30/06 what magnification do you set to see a deep bifurcation? 2.5?

It really depends on the scope and various lenses you have. On our Zeiss we’ll be on x1.0 or x2.5 to really have a look. If it’s a straight line view which is not always the case 😅
