I love Jelly Roll 100% hit. Jelly Roll did start out as a rapper and has a hug rap catalogue. Jelly Roll makes real music for real people, his music will reach down and grab your soul.

Love your reaction cause its the same for all of us the first time it blows you away 🙂 He reminds me of Merle Haggard who had to live a rough life to be able to write the songs he did and that's why they move us so much. Happy New Year!

I've been following guys like jelly roll and struggle jennings for over 16 years. I've heard jelly rap about his past experiences with selling drugs and his struggle with addiction. Having said that I don't know that gangster rap is what I would say! I would argue that someone who described him that way hasn't heard enough of his music! I think that was the opinion of someone who doesn't care for rap, and probably says that about all rap music! Yall have a blessed day and please do your best to avoid those who are closed minded!

Just discovered your channel. Great reaction. Jelly Roll is awesome. He lays his heart right out there. You should react to Save Me by Jelly Roll. Also, Same A--hole by Jelly Roll is great. There is swearing in that one and he mostly raps in it, but it's great! :)

Thank you for your two comments. I can not speak for Clay but I know I am looking forward to reacting to more Jellyroll music. I believe we may be reacting to the Brantley Gilbert and Jellyroll song, “Dirty Son of the South” soon. 😊

I Love me some Jelly on my Roll. You need to give more of his music a try, even his rap. He always performs from the heart. Save Me, Son of a Sinner, Dead Man Walking, Glitter, Life.

Another song I consider empowering is Ahses-Snak The Ripper. Fair warning though, it's VERY emotional. ❤
    Great reaction gentlemen

Hey guys, wasn't sure where to post this. Once I broke away from the industry produced crap you hear on the radio every day and started checking out the independent and small artist, I discovered so much great music. Jelly,Struggle,Yeowolf,Lacs,NF,Electric Callboy, and many others. Another one I discovered was DAX. Check out his new one released today,'Like to Be a Man'. 3 years ago this 55 year old discovered so much more music. I never thought there was so much out there to discover. Warning now, Dax's music has a great sound and a better message. More people need to discover him and hear his message.
