Great teaching Samuel. I envy your location - I live on the most northern island in the UK - Unst, in the Shetland Isles. For 45 years I had to drive a truck around Europe and the Middle East (without a camera) whilst dreaming of being an artist. Great video Sam. I was curious to hear you say the horizon was low. I'm not disagreeing, but it suggests you see the mountains as the sky. An emotional response to the subject matter, perhaps?
Thanks Ashley, the mountains are the main feature so they do take up a lot of space. I find when painting mountains it’s much better to have a lower horizon 😊
