I love Ultimate Cap. Deep down he's got a heart of gold, and I would've loved to see him finish training Ultimate Pete. He's an absolute monster compared to his mainline counterpart, too.
He was a complete dick to Peter and hated on him from the jump 🤦🏾 blamed his death on himself when he could of helped him
@@zman3434he just wanted peter to be safe. that's why his training was harsh because peter parker in this universe is a kid and after peters death he blame himself to the extent that he don't want miles to take the mantle of spiderman cus he does not want to it to happen again.
Ignoring the Mutant racism part
Aunt May had every right to slap the heck out of Steve for the way the latter treated her nephew. Rogers made a judgment call on Peter before he ever got a chance to know him as a person. Steve completely lost perspective and forgot who he was as a person and as an Ultimate. Peter Parker was 50 times the hero Cap ever was in that universe.
Because the original Ultimate Marvel comics were my entry into reading Marvel’s books I had a very low opinion on Cap as a result. Fortunately the classic 616 books and the MCU helped me see Steve in a better way, or rather what he should be as opposed to his Ultimate version.
That being said, Hank had this beat down coming to him.
Kratos: I slaughtered Kronos with the Blade of Olympus.
Captain America: I kicked Giant-Man's ass with my own two DAMN hands.
As if Antman is anywhere comparable to Kronos, when he is depressed, drunk and naked.
This was a very accurate depiction of real life domestic abuse. the abuser tries to justify and/or excuse his actions and often the victim still wants to work things out with her abuser, not realizing or admitting the abuser will never change.

And MCU Cap's moral stance is more like the 616. He is barely like the Ultimate Cap unless you want to take ambiguous PTSD and his suits' design. Overall, he is more like the 616-version. I love Fury’s reaction when he first hears that is Cap going to “arrest” Pym.
I really appreciate the realism of this situation. Something sadly very common is happening to the Avengers. Honestly I am glad Steve did what he did. Old school beat down. Janet telling Steve he made a fool of himself while she's been taking beatings from Hank for years. There is a fool here but sure is not Steve. These people are supposed to be protecting the planet and this stuff is happening behind closed doors? Not the best example of stable team mates.
Steve did make a fool of himself. He basically got in between them because he himself liked Janet. He did not do it because it was the right thing to do, he did it because he wanted to be Janet's white knight.
@@HulkVahkiin Steve got in between them because the abuse got so bad other intervention was required. Janet was giving Hank a pass because she grew accustomed to being the victim. Fury gave him a pass because he needed Giant Man. Hank said he was ashamed, on anti depressants, and so on and so on. He had been hitting her since college and no one stepped in because of crap like it isn't my business. White Night or not an abusive bully was finally taught a lesson. I'm confident Steve would do it again too. Frankly I could care less about Janet's opinion. No your right I'm supposed to wait till he finally kill or cripples you for action to be taken? Bullshit
@@HulkVahkiin - So from your logic letting Hank go on beating his wife with no consequences is not being a fool? Hmmm...
And no, it was more the principle of not beating women is why Cap did it. If he saw some guy hitting his wife on the street he would probably deck a stranger a few times too. He only went as far as he did her becasue this was more personal as he knew Janet and Hank well (and Hank should be better... and even when confronted he makes excuses as if he is the victim, basically this Hank Pym is a sad pathetic women beating loser).
@@PartStupid Og cap always fight bullies he dont bully them back
@@uvindukulathunga3860 - What? At what point does it leave the realm of justice and become bullying the bully? You are splitting hairs and not in a good way.
IMO Cap is punishing the bully once to get them to stop. If Cap were to come back each day and hit the bully then yes he would be bullying them too but if he just beats them once to stop their lifetime of beating on others that is called JUSTICE.
I loved it !!! Cap bulling the bully... Just like real life you can't come between a couple or they'll both turn on you... Still Hank deserved that ass whipping...
I think it's more like she's glad Hank got beat but feels more ashamed she wasn't the one who stood up for herself. Hank made her feel vulnerable, and Cap saving her didn't make those feelings go away. She doesn't hate him at least - just isn't very comfortable talking with him.
What I got out of it was she wanted Cap to stay in his lane and she still loves Hank... But I the back of Captain America's head he probably always thought, "I can take Hank no matter how big he grows" !!! Lol
But its wrong buy 616 caps standereds right
He doesng bully the buliies he save the one who is bullied and try to make the bully a better person
He ENJOYED giving Hank that ass whipping....
Steve knows what we know: that Hank will be protected and kept from any meaningful punishment. He cannot abide that.
Hank deserved that. Sometimes that is exactly what someone like that needs. Hank is playing the victim while being the actual abuser, he needed some of his own medicine. Cap's the man.
I mean, honestly yeah. It could change his perspective really knowing what it's like to be that scared, that helpless.
my thoughts exactly. I guess all the knights in shining armor are supposed to let women be abused. pathetic.

You do not get to say "I had it rough so the terrible things I do are okay because I had it rough", that is the mentality of a child and it is playing the victim to avoid responsibility and consequence.
It is also interesting that she suffered beatings from Pym because she was a mutant. She sometimes laid eggs, decreased and hunted for Caterpillars. She tolerated him in the first place, because she believed that no one else would accept her for who she is. And it's also funny that they developed this plot of the classic Pim the Wife Beater.

Excellent fight !! Comics used to be written like this in the old days like the 80's and 90's.
Not like this!
This was done at the beginning of 2000, when Mark Millar raised the bars of violence!
I learned how to make a landmine out of a shotgun shell in a Punisher I read in the '8os.
Ah yes, the ugliest version of the problematic abuse of Hank Pym and his wife. I distinctly remember there was a weird love triangle formed from Steve sleeping with the Wasp and at one point, Hank used bug spray on her when she tried to hide. But that happened before this point, when Hank went way off the deep end... honestly not the worst thing he's done in comics given the mainstream version of him made *Ultron*
Ultimate Hank Pym is Ultron if he was a human instead of a robot. He has all of Pym's flaws: Mental instability, misantrophy....sans his redeeming qualities.
Poor cap, so what if its not 1945 cap was just trying to be a supportive friend in his own way. Cap is cool.
And this is why captain America is a badass.

Cap is Marvel's equivalent of Batman with h-t-h combat, and he's superhuman as well. Very very much within his capabilities to beat the crap out of Pym, even as giant man
My favorite Ultimate moment. Wish this happened in the mainstream universe too.
Based Captain America.
Ok Hank Pym was a jerk and deserved those hits, but Cap could've at least arrested him and taken the fight somewhere else. I mean at least he did it in a construction area.
He has S.H.I.E.L.D. to take care of collateral damage. Of course, he did not care.
Well He did bulldoze Pym's Face, so the place was poetic justice 🤷🏿♂️
Captain America isn't Thor. He is not going to cause too much damage.
"taken the fight somewhere else" it's exactly what he did... The first thing he did was to GRAB his face to make him fall on the construction area, it's very clear that it wasn't by coincidence, since the timing, action and zone (beginning of the fight, grab instead of hitting, land to a zone without civilians).
I always forget how messed up the Ultimate Universe was.
It was great imho
Hank hit Janet once iirc in an old comic and it's basically labled him as a domestic abuser (by hit I mean flung his arm to get her away and she qas socked in the mouth by his Forearm on accident.) “You’re spending the next 3 months in traction Mister” broooooooooooo
Whoever wrote this truly understands real life female nature. You can't help a woman who doesn't want to be helped. Captain America is blue pill for sure.
I love how red pills are either always based on bullshit or try to masquerade common ethics, like in this case "You can't help somebody if they don't want any help", as their own ideas about female nature. It's like a first-grade philosophy student showing off his first essay, and thinking they have something of substance to say, lol.
I don't know if this larping is sad or hilarious, but it's sure as hell something.
@@Thane3999 That’s not what he means; obviously he’d trying to point out the how in situations like this. The abused victim will often displace blame and/or anger onto the person who is helping them. Was the red pill stuff necessary? No; but you can’t deny his point that “victims often don’t want help in these situations” as being first grade philosophy.
If the writer understood female nature so well, then they really missed on male nature completely. It's human nature to want to prevent the harm that is being caused onto the person you care about. Even if it's coming from another person and the choice is either sit on your ass and doing nothing, or taking action. Only an idiot would implant this red pill/blue pill narrative into this comment and try to say Steve is a blue pill. Janet if anything, is a Blue Pill, she was going to take the least amount of action and resistance, to regain her former status quo. Steve acted, knowing that it would alter the future, but he had to act, to prevent any possible future harm happening to someone he cares about. If you look up the definition of red pill, you will see that it fits Steve's instincts to act and perform said actions. Steve comes from a generation where you do not stand idle while evil goes unchecked. If you want to say "You can't help a woman who doesn't want to be helped" than it's also true to say "If women can't see who you are and what is in your heart, they never deserved you in the first place"

Not in this universe, the weak become the strongest and strongest become weak, that’s why wolverine and every strong character dies so easily in this series
Nope, Ultimate Captain America is 20 times stronger than 616 Captain America.
Ultimate Captain America is as strong as Spider-Man
@@chernovbilinski4012 Seriously though, Wolverine has always been weak. All he had was regeneration and an adamantium skeleton. He was saved by his popularity, because all that was always needed to be done to him was to burn his flesh from the skeleton and that was it, he was dead. This is what happened in the ultimate universe. Given magneto's abilities in the original 616 and Ultimate universe, he should have been able to easily kill all the X-Men, especially the wolverine. Ultimatum This was one of the biggest and most important events in the universe. There were plenty of such events in the 616 universe, but there were almost never consequences in it. The world hasn't changed, the characters haven't changed much. Considering what abilities the creatures of the marvel universe have, as a result of their battles, everything there should be covered with corpses, and the world should lie in ruins. By the way, the fact that in the Ultimate universe they die quickly and without show-off makes comics only better for me. Because that's how people die in real life. Well, why couldn't the magneto take control of the iron man armor and cyclone visors and direct it at the enemies? Why couldn't he, having the power to control magnetism, rip the flesh off the wolverine and kill him long ago?
Am I the only one who really misses the ultimate universe
Nope. I do too
To a degree, it was nothing but edge and no point.
I totally do, the Avengers really being the top team despite having more flaws (falcon, being an experienced soldier against a young inexperienced but powered mutant, defeats Colossus easily), Thor being taken as a mad man and Cap being actually the most dangerous member (he also gets very close to beat both Hulk and Thor, easily, each time saving the squad), the mutants being the inexperienced peoples they should always be (scared-mutants and losing-mutants are much better than gods-mutants for their stories imho), fantastic four being more on Earth, Galactus not having an human body, an actual death with Peter Parker and the coming of a great substitute in Miles Morales (spiderman works fantastically when he is the younger hero around, unexpressed high potential) and so much more I don't even remember possibly.
The last year things were being changed for the bad unfortunately, in the desperate act to try and solve something before closure possibly, of course they made everything worse and actually made even fans like me decide that the closure was good.
Great fight! I like how they drew Fury accurate to Jackson, so why wouldn't they do that with cap/Chris Evans? Oh well.
The Ultimate Universe's Nick Fury was based on Jackson before the MCU. The Ultimate Universe's Captain America was not based on Chris Evans. I'm not sure but I think that this comic was written before the MCU as well. Good question though! Have a good day!
The Ultimates Wasp was just as bad their version of Giant Man, Cap should have stayed away from both of them, Giant Man and the Wasp deserve each other!
Unfortunately, that's the mental state abuse victims are prone to retreat into. They tell themselves it was a one-time thing or that their partner didn't mean to hurt them. The abuser's apologies quickly turn into excuses, which soon turn into accusations, which turn into outright blame. The abuse victim's mind will groom itself into believing the abuse is somehow their fault or that they deserve it in an attempt to rationalize the abuse.
This is the exact reason abuse victims should immediately any relationship after the first instance of abuse. If they do it once, all statistics indicate they will do it again.

Hank is believable, cops have all sorts of skeletons in their private closets IRL.
But Steve just went full cowboy cop on this one. He knows people won't always do the right thing, he knows HE won't always do the right thing, but you've got to take responsibility for when you do wrong. His friend Namor might have been able to help with the advanced tech of Atlantis he would have been glad to help because Ms Marvel had saved his niece Namorita in a recent issue of Ms Marvel. Namor previously saved Atlantis from the control of the serpent crown, he might have had the scientists of Atlantis design a counter against similar attempts in the future. That story was out of character for the Avengers. In Avengers Annual 10 Danvers was rightfully upset at them for not having helped her at all. His actions were neither wise nor smart.
Super hero soap opera?
I hate ultimate fury so much I hate ultimate fury more than I hate ultimate hulk and he ate people for fuvk sake
Ultimatum was sh!t
Pretty sure The Seven is meant to be a parody of super teams like Avengers and Justice League, not a blueprint for imitation by them.
Are you saying the avengers copied the seven in this case or that the seven are based on a blueprint this being the ultimates universe?
umm... so you think this is imitating the Seven? You got it backwards there, chief... The comic this comes from, "The Ultimates", pre-dates "The Boys", where "The Seven" is from, by like 5 years. The original run of the Ultimates is one of most important and influential comic book series ever, and influenced stuff like The Boys, as well as a lot of the modern Marvel movies; since the Ultimates was an attempt to do a modern and realistic version of the Avengers (you're typically not going to see domestic abuse & drug/alcohol abuse in a normal Avengers comic, and Cap isn't going to take someone out back to beat some 1940s morals into them).
Lmao what? Ultimates came before.
Never mind, then
@@lamelama22 the ultimates is not how superhero’s would act, it’s all exaggerated
The art in the fight was so bad do you know how long it would take for Captain America to roll out of the way of this guy do we forget that this is a superhero too seems like some discrepancies were overlooked
Should've specified Ultimate Cap..
this is so badly written
This was a stupid story line.
😂 stupid shit when cap jumped outta the window giant man could of just ate him right there but ok tear the biulding down i gets cap is fast but giant man is faster just cuz he big don't mean shit the dude can fight hulk smh
Actually at his huge size and wind resistance hes not that fast lol
Actually at his huge size and wind resistance hes not that fast lol
That's the most stupid comment I've ever seen. Go back to being a weeb, trying to be a pretentious intellectual clearly didn't work out here.
I don't remember Giant Man fighting the Hulk at all. All I do remember is that he got his a$$ submitted before he could grasp onto the Hulk. Also, if it were not for Giant Man being in a team, he would have been killed a long time ago by the hands of Ult. Hulk. Your reasoning makes zero sense.
Giant Man here is fighting against a tactical genius with an genetically engineered physiology including a far better mental aptitude, speed and response. It was a believable win. Giant Man is slower than the average human due to his size, not as slow as a slug but compared to someone with advanced reflex like Captain America's, he would be that slow.
Some of you need grow up. It's a comic book. Getting all worked up over comics. geez!!
Everyone says that Hank is a bad guy, but he told Janet "Dinner is at 6 Not 6:06 & Not 6:15!"
From the looks of her face, he even told her twice.
