Soooo if you're not aware, the poem 'The New Colossus' by Emma Lazarus from 1883 (the one I'm riffing on here) is etched in bronze and mounted on the Statue of Liberty's pedestal. It's a beautiful and poignant poem. 💫
I have knit the Dingley Dell sweater! I used 3 colors and it took just 3 skeins of a linen wool blend. It is among my very favorite garments I have ever made. The pattern is so well written and it was a pleasure to knit!
Aww thank you for choosing my yarn for the first installation of this new series!!! I'm considering both shawls, but I love all the patterns you shared! Can I just send pictures of all my stash?? 😂
I’m so glad you too were curious about the look of Milwaukee’s flag that inspired “The People’s Shawl.” I was making note of the city to look it up myself, but didn’t have to.
🌴☀️I love the Dingley just finished it (it has the contiguous method too Tayler🎉) you spoke about in the contiguous video. IT. FITS. LOVELY. I don’t think I’ll do raglan again💐 I have a 41” upper bust btw, it’s a well written pattern fits like a glove 🧤 . Thanks so much 💗 Tayler, see you on Patreon☀️🌴 Edit: the Dingley is so well I was able to easily modify it to have zero ease haha💃🏽
This has got to be the coolest segment I've seen on a knitting video! I love this idea! I can't wait to get a sneak peek into others stashes and see all the inspiration for these pretty skeins!
Low this! So glad you are still taking photos. I thought I missed the boat on this one. I have some yarn that I absolutely love the color and texture of but don’t have a lot of it and so I’m not sure what to do with it. Will be taking a nice photo and sending your way!
Oh my goodness! I’ve often wished for someone to walk in to my studio and look at colors, weights, textures and tell me what could be done. Spot on with this much needed idea. Thanks!
The past time you talked about using moxed fibers to make things not quiet as warm i had biogarn +mohair on the needles for a scarf/shawl and i felt likea genius 😂
The stitch pattern in the Moonlight Wrap looks like linen stitch. This is such a fantastic idea for a series… giving everyone some inspiration! I love looking for the yarn I have on ravelry to see what other ppl made with it for the same reason.
I love this new segment, what a fantastic idea! One never knows when inspiration sparks, everyone wins in my opinion! I definitely have a few submissions. The textured shawl is gorgeous 😊
Oh my gods I'm only a minute in and it's already exactly what I've been looking for! I have some yarn and scraps in my stash that I've been breaking my brain over what to do with. A pair of fresh eyes is brilliant😍
The stipe t~shirt makes you look like an Easter Egg, anyone that is not thin will probably not choose that design. The other ideas are good! Like your idea to help with other people’s stash!
Omg, I ❤❤❤ this video!! I missed the announcement about this new series and I'm loving it!! How fun! I'm so enjoying this and your Ravelry Roulette series. As a newer knitter, it's broadening my horizons of available patterns, ideas and teaching me how to use Ravelry more effectively. Thank you so much! What a great way to start off my day!
What a great notion for stash-busting! I feel like I should just send photos of my whole stash (I have inherited yarn from MIL, grandma, aunt as well as my own!). Well, nah, but maybe I'll send a photo of something fun. Thanks for sharing this fun idea!
Brilliant! Put my needles down a few weeks ago out of frustration with a pattern I fell in love with but is just so much more complicated than I like... but this video got my fingers tingling again! Thanks!
I watch multiple channels like yours for the very reason you started this new series. I love to see what others have done. They give me ideas for creating my own projects. I prefer knitting, but I also crochet. I’m more advanced in crochet than knitting. I love watching and learning. I’m trying to design my own V-neck sweater, but have been stuck on how to create the V-neck portion. Until recently. After watching several videos on which increase/decrease leans to the correct side, I finally figured out which leans what way. I’m still in the beginner level, obviously. I do have quite a huge yarn stash. I may eventually send you pictures of some of my stash to see what you can come up with. Other than wash/dish cloths, I really have no idea what to do with all the cotton yarn I have. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks!
I love your videos. I always learn something from them. Most videos I watch mostly talk about their knitting, but you share knowledge. I love that. I have taken so much from your podcast, like knitting takes time, it isn’t a race to see how quickly and how much you can make, interchangeable needles aren’t always the best bet and a lot more. In this video you mentioned about managing your colors but how does one go about doing that? What things do you consider in doing that? Thank you
I love this ❤ such a great inspiration series idea, there’s so many amazing patterns out there and hard to filter through them all, plus any excuse to see other peoples yarn stash 😂
What a great video. I sure hope you continue with this. I got totally inspired for the other four skein sets in my unallocated yarns. I would also appreciate know what combos of different fabric contents will be successful. As a new knitter, I keep thinking I have to stay in the same yarn group when adding to those single skeins.
Such a useful concept. Beginner knitter long term crocheted with a stash I’ve been trying to use. Thanks for the ideas, several are in my favourites now! Looking forward to the next episode.

Great video. Thanks
Hi I love your amazing videos but I don't have yarn anymore I ran out of all my yarns 😊
It is a delightful poem.
Thanks for the extra bit of info 😊

I love this idea! Please ask Adele for FO pictures when she has them, so we can see what she makes with this!
Btw, Tayler, your hair looks beautiful today! Wish my hair did that!

This was so much fun! If you get more submissions it would also be fun to do like three different yarns but not as many pattern suggestions.
Absolutely need this series!
What a great idea for a new series! Thanks
Hey Tayler, that video is great! The inspiration is wonderful. Thanks! Vossy
What a great idea for a series, i really love this! ❤
Wonderful addition and something we could all use. Maybe one time you could highlight or recommend patters to use with your new yarn?
The Purl Soho scarf looks like it’s made in linen stitch, which makes a beautiful, denser fabric, and is great when mixing colors.
Another great segment. Thx Tayler.
This has got to be the coolest segment I've seen on a knitting video! I love this idea! I can't wait to get a sneak peek into others stashes and see all the inspiration for these pretty skeins!

Oh my gods I'm only a minute in and it's already exactly what I've been looking for! I have some yarn and scraps in my stash that I've been breaking my brain over what to do with. A pair of fresh eyes is brilliant😍

What a great idea and wonderful options for Adele’s yarn. This is exciting and I will be looking forward to more of these segments. Congratulations!

What an INCREDIBLE idea! So clever and helpful. Now I need to go stash diving to find my peskiest skeins that have languished for far too long...

What a great idea!! Always looking for new pattern ideas. Not much of a shawl wearer but it would be great for gifting. Thanks so much!! 😊
I really enjoyed this idea for your podcast! I think the People’s shawl would be stunning in Fiber for the People yarn.
Groovy idea, Tayler. Love your creativity!
Love love love shawls. Great idea!
A vest would be great in those colors. Either with stripes or other colorwork pattern.
So much fun!!
I love this idea. You have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into, lady!

Thank you! I’m so grateful for the original suggestion!
In the next installment, could you add a brief tutorial about how you found these patterns? Do you just use the filters on Ravelry? Thank you!
I had just bought the dingley dell pattern! I thought it was so cute.
It is SOO cute Rayyna!
Wonderful podcast, Tayler. I loved both shawls. I might have to buy yarn to make one of them too !! Great idea to have this service.
